What is the opportunity?

As the Director, Process Engineering, you'll re-imagine and engineer “architecture management”; how architecture development and governance is applied across EA and architecture community, reducing complexity, simplifying and automating the processes by exploiting AI capabilities, improving integration at scale within IT Management, while ensuring governance outcomes and strategic objectives are achieved.

What will you do?

• Design and implement scalable platforms, services and governance workflows supporting Enterprise Architecture mandate and Enterprise architecture community
• Map and assess the current tool chain to identify opportunities to drive agile and process improving solutions, establish seamless integration across EA platforms and services and with Enterprise platforms with goal of reducing friction and maximizing end user value and driving adoption
• Improve tool integration and data flow to reduce manual effort and accelerate governance decisions
• Leverage best in house automation and AI support to accelerate modernization, scale service, insights and governance as well as drive automation in toolchain
• Establish repeatable, sustainable processes and drive continuous improvement
• Drive initiatives for data lineage and metadata management to ensure continual high-quality data
• Partner with line of business and functions architects, platform owners, and risk stakeholders to align on product and associated process improvements necessary to achieve strategic goals
• Define and track success metrics that balance efficiency and business value (time saved, integration scale) with governance effectiveness (compliance, risk, standards adherence).
• Manage a team of SMEs to deliver and advance on strategic objectives
• Build and mentor a high-performing team

 What do you need to succeed?

 Must have:

• Proven experience in process engineering, business process improvement, or a similar role, ideally within EA, IT governance, or a technology environment

• Strong understanding of architecture concepts, governance frameworks, and tool chains (e.g., EA repositories, integration/automation platforms, workflow tools)

• Track record of simplifying complex processes and delivering measurable efficiency gains

• Analytical mindset with the ability to balance speed against control and compliance

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• 5-7 yrs of experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business/Management Information Systems, or equivalent in a related field or

• Master's degree (e.g. MS in Engineering Management, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, or MBA) preferred for senior levels

Nice-to-have: 

• Relevant coursework or formal training in business process management, systems thinking, and IT service management is valued

Certifications:

• TOGAF — The Open Group

• ArchiMate — The Open Group

• Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect — Zachman International

• Lean Six Sigma, Green or Black Belt — ASQ (American Society for Quality) or IASSC (International Association for Six Sigma Certification)

• Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) — ABPMP

• OCEB 2 (BPM) — Object Management Group (OMG)

• ITIL 4 (Foundation or higher) — PeopleCert

• COBIT / CGEIT — ISACA

• Agile / Delivery (nice to have)

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) — Scrum Alliance; or PSM — Scrum.org

• SAFe — Scaled Agile, Inc.

• PMP — Project Management Institute (PMI)
