JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Business Development is responsible for managing all aspects of marketing including overseeing daily marketing operations, initiatives, and members of the marketing team, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, and responding to customer requests and concerns.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing leadership, guidance, and direct supervision to members of the marketing team.
- Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans designed to achieve growth objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, payer organizations, and community partners.
- Identifying opportunities for service expansion and market growth.
- Collaborating with clinical leadership to promote specialty programs and services.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and healthcare industry developments.
- Managing departmental resources and supporting budget and census goals.
- Representing The Pines Home Health and Hospice in the community and enhancing brand awareness.
- Evaluating the effectiveness and return on investment of marketing efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in home health and/or hospice marketing.
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare marketing leadership.
- Demonstrates good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
- AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to attain).
