Job Description

Overview:

The Design Studio Operations Lead oversees the end-to-end homeowner selections process, delivering a positive customer experience while ensuring selections, documentation, purchase orders and related activities are completed in alignment with operational timelines. The role maintains studio samples, displays and product information; collaborates with trade partners, suppliers and internal teams to support current offerings, forecasts, material reselections and product performance recommendations; and manages the systems that support Design Studio operations. The position also provides Contracts and Purchasing administration support, including issuing base and options purchase orders and maintaining contracts in DocuSign.

Key Responsibilities:·

• Lead the end-to-end homeowner selection process, ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience
• Ensure all homeowner selections completion is aligned with operations timelines
• Prepare and maintain all supporting documentation, including floor plans, community specific templates, and product information sheets, to ensure smooth and clear selections process
• Execute end-to-end process of custom options, including investigation, costing, drawings, and system execution, in collaboration with Contracts/Purchasing and Architecture teams.
• Manage Spec Lot Selections process, including budget, inclusions, and timeframe in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
• Maintain studio samples and displays. Work with trade partners and suppliers to maintain knowledge of available options and ensure studio reflects current offerings, design trends, and buyer preferences. Manage trade-specific option forecasts and material reselections. Monitor options sales performance, analyze product uptake and make recommendations for pricing or product adjustments
• Leads homeowner selection appointments, guiding customers through the personalization of their home while delivering a seamless experience, expert product knowledge, proactive communication, and exceptional customer service throughout the process
• Maintain Design Studio Manager (DSM), DSM Configurator, the NSE Product Library, and Design Studio related reports. Create and maintain new models, options, and option packages as needed. Input all appliances orders in the Whirlpool Portal.
• Issue all Base and Options POs in line with operational timelines
• Provide contracts administration support for setting up and maintaining new contracts in Docusign

What You'll Bring:

• Strong knowledge of residential construction finishes, products and Décor trends
• Solid understanding of design studio selections process and operations
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer experience mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and all levels of internal management
• Proficiency in Newstar, Excel, Word, Blubeam Revu
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage both homeowner facing décor activities and back office duties

What We Offer:

• Annual Base Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
