Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Business Intelligence within Wealth by driving transformation initiatives, modernizing analytics capabilities, advancing AI-enabled solutions, and influencing how data-driven decision making is delivered across the organization.

1. Drive BI Transformation Strategy & Execution

• Drive BI Transformation initiatives across Wealth.
• Help shape and evolve BI operating models, delivery processes, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve how analytics and reporting capabilities are developed, governed, and consumed across Wealth.
• Contribute to BI Transformation roadmap development aligned with business priorities and enterprise direction.

2. Modernize Wealth BI Capabilities

• Support the migration and modernization of analytical assets and reporting capabilities, including Power BI migration and transformation initiatives.
• Partner with other colleagues on data modernization efforts, including Unity Catalog migration and related platform capabilities.
• Promote scalable, reusable, and sustainable BI development practices.
• Help shape, refine, and drive adoption of visualization standards, semantic modeling best practices, governance, documentation, and BI solutions design.
• Leverage metrics, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve BI capabilities and user experience.

3. Drive BI Innovation Through AI and Emerging Technologies

• Explore opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and modern analytics technologies to improve BI development, adoption, governance, and user experience.

• Evaluate emerging industry trends and recommend practical applications for Wealth BI. Deep expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and modern analytics frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, data visualization design, semantic modeling, and dashboard optimization.

• Prototype and champion innovative approaches that improve business value and team effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and technology adoption.

4. Leadership Through Influence

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, and analytics partners.
• Influence decisions through data-driven recommendations, structured problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Mentor peers and team members through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and best-practice development.
• Help create alignment and strategic direction during periods of change and ambiguity.
• Lead initiatives and drive outcomes without formal authority by building credibility, trust, and stakeholder alignment.

Technical Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, Data & AI, or a related field.

• Experience leading complex analytics, BI, modernization, or transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern analytics platforms such as Databricks.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, semantic modeling, data visualization design, and self-service BI enablement.
• Experience with BI modernization efforts, including migration, governance, operating model evolution, or platform transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, data governance, and analytics best practices.

Preferred

• Experience applying AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or ML capabilities to improve analytics and BI workflows.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and large-scale enterprise data environments.
• Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Banking experience.
