Job Role: Customer Service Representative

Compensation range: $1200 - $1800 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: A well established Australia based business providing specialised solutions and support services across the Australasian region. The company is known for its customer focused approach, long term client relationships, and collaborative team culture, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous growth.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly personable and customer focused Customer Service Representative to manage a dedicated portfolio of customers. Unlike a traditional call centre environment, this role is built around developing long term, one to one relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact via phone and email. Strong English comprehension and communication skills are essential, as you'll be responsible for understanding customer needs, resolving enquiries, and delivering a consistently high level of service. Candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for building relationships will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers, acting as their primary point of contact
• Build strong, long term relationships by understanding customers' needs and maintaining regular communication
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
• Resolve customer issues efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience
• Maintain accurate customer records and interaction history within the CRM
• Collaborate with internal teams including Accounts, Design, Programming, and Administration to resolve customer requests
• Proactively follow up on outstanding enquiries and keep customers informed throughout the process
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service aligned with company standards 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Customer Service, Client Services, Account Management, or a similar customer facing role
• Outstanding English comprehension, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to create genuine rapport
• Excellent problem solving, organisation, and time management skills
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho CRM, or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace
• Experience working with Australian customers is highly desirable
• Ability to manage multiple customer relationships while maintaining a high level of service
• Must be willing to work onsite from the Makati office, where the Philippine team of approximately 30 employees is based
• Willingness to work Australian business hours when required
