As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Credit Controller to join us.

Responsibilities include 

• Own a personal ledger within the team's shared cash collection target, proactively chasing invoices rather than just following process from very old, overdue accounts to invoices due for the first time.
• Contact customers and their payment partners to confirm invoices have been received and scheduled for payment, chasing consistently in the run-up to and past the due date.
• Keep Sage fully up to date so the team always has an accurate picture of progress across the ledger.
• Solve problems as they come up by reissuing invoices, tracking down supporting contracts, requesting POs, and running claims through payment portals.
• Build strong working relationships across finance, sales, and with customers and third-party payment processors to keep cash moving as efficiently as possible.

Requirements

A little bit about you.
We’d really like to hear from you, if you have

• Experience as a credit controller in a high-volume environment (think hundreds of invoices and customers on the go at once), motivated by hitting cash collection targets.
• A tenacious, resourceful approach to problem solving — you find a way to get things done, whatever the barriers, rather than giving up on a tricky account.
• Strong relationship-building skills across different stakeholders, from finance and sales through to customers and third parties.
• A logical, detail-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload efficiently.
• Confidence working with systems to track and manage data (Sage Intacct experience, or exposure to affiliate networks in media/advertising, is a bonus).
