ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Imagine Product team is redefining AI-driven media experiences for Grok users worldwide. In this role, you’ll build the communications system that meets creators where they are: public proof of what Grok Imagine can do, programs that show creators how it makes them faster, more cost-efficient, or more ambitious, and a community that runs from individual makers to production houses. The job is to move the brand from talking about itself to making other people talk about it — through proof, craft, and community. If you’re a hands-on communicator who can turn product capability into credible stories, repeat advocates, and a feedback loop back into the product, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own creator and community communications strategy for Grok Imagine — plan and execute outreach that turns product capability into visible proof, creator adoption, and durable brand affinity.
• Build and ship product-showcase content across owned channels.
• Design and run influencer programs as two distinct motions: awareness partners who put Grok Imagine in front of volume, and craft partners.
• Build relationships with production houses, studios, and in-house creative teams. Get Grok Imagine into real editorial and post-production pipelines, and run a two-way channel so professional workflow feedback reaches the product.
• Manage external production when in-house capacity is not enough — bidding, contracts, workflow, and quality control — in close partnership with creative leads who set the taste bar for anything that ships under Grok’s name.
• Track how competing AI media products talk to creators and professionals. Build the measurement that shows which communications work actually drives adoption, and that can support investment in the work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience leading communications, creator partnerships, or community programs for a consumer or creator-facing product, including shipped showcases, tutorials, case studies, or creator programs that moved people from curiosity to practice.
• Hands-on operator: you can write a brief, run outreach, ship a content calendar, manage a vendor, and stand up a curation and rights-clearance pipeline without a large team underneath you.
• Experience working with creators, influencers, or professional media practitioners, and judgment about which voices confer reach versus which confer credibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; you can be precise with internal partners and compelling with external audiences.
• Strong editorial judgment and a clear standard for what can go out under the brand.
• Comfort operating in a small, high-velocity team alongside product, research, design, and engineering.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Background in AI-driven media, generative tools, or adjacent creative software.
• Experience running both broad-reach influencer programs and credibility-building partnerships with working professionals.
• Familiarity with production, post-production, or studio workflows — and how new tools actually enter them.
• Experience managing agencies or production vendors end to end.
• Analytics-informed content practice: using performance data to set cadence, format mix, and spend.
• Demonstrated taste in visual and motion media, and a point of view on what makes generative work look professional rather than novel.
• Prior work moving a product’s public perception from novelty to working tool.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$140,000 - $196,000 USD
