Pre-requisites:

•  University degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically, 3-6 years of direct experience in areas of Trade Compliance & Export Controls, Export Licensing, Regulatory Audits & Government Engagement with preferred Supply Chain, Global Trade experience

Job Scope

• Support export compliance operations by performing transaction reviews, export screening, and license determinations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Utilize global ERP and trade compliance systems to process transactions, maintain data accuracy, and support daily business operations.
• Interpret and apply documented work instructions, guidelines, and compliance requirements to support internal stakeholders and business requests.
• Monitor regulatory updates and support the communication and implementation of compliance process changes.
• Maintain compliance records and documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory requirements.
• Support interactions with Japanese regulatory authorities (METI), including audit preparation, regulatory update tracking, and compliance-related communications.

Proven experience in the following

• Proven experience executing export compliance transactions in global ERP systems, including export screening, license application, adherence to documented processes, and timely support of business and stakeholder requests.
• Demonstrated expertise in Japan export compliance, including METI regulatory engagement, audit management, regulatory change communication, and cross-functional leadership to achieve successful audit outcomes.
• This is a Hybrid position – expectation that the individual is in the office collaborating F2F with team and other stakeholders, at minimum 2 days per week and in alignment with the company rules/changes.
