Work Schedule: 12NN - 9PM

Role Overview

This role sits within the C&AFC F&P team responsible for the implementation and execution of the risk management framework for C&AFC risks across the bank, including methodology, processes, systems and training. Within F&P, the Analytics, Insights and Monitoring (AIM) team is responsible for designing and enabling C&AFC processes and applications used for issue management, management information (MI) and reporting, with a data team responsible for prioritising, sourcing and quality controls over the data used to enable advisory, risk management and oversight activities.

This role is focused on ensuring that C&AFC data is sourced, controlled, documented and prepared to a standard that enables reliable risk management, analytics, MI and reporting. As a Data Operations Analyst, you will maintain the data processes, repositories, catalogues and dashboard inputs that support critical control processes, risk metrics, risk assessments and Group-level reporting. By ensuring data is accurate, consistent, complete and clearly governed, the role provides the trusted data foundation required for effective oversight, insight generation and decision-making across the C&AFC function.

  • Medical and life insurance upon employment

  • 20 days annual vacation

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the manual data sourcing processes, managing the secure and timely collection of data from various providers across the Bank.

  • Perform critical data quality controls and validation checks to ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of risk data, documenting evidence of completeness and escalating issues as they arise.

  • Manage the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for data used in risk reporting, ensuring data is correctly structured and prepared for analysis.

  • Maintain and enhance data distribution dashboards, including those built in Tableau, to support effective risk oversight and management information (MI) reporting.

  • Administer and govern key data assets, including maintaining data repositories, metric data catalogues, and associated metadata to ensure clear data lineage and definitions.

  • Own the creation and maintenance of key process documentation, including desktop procedures to ensure operational resilience and consistency.

  • Implement change control procedures for data processes and reporting, ensuring any modifications are documented, tested, and approved.

  • Support the integration of new data sources and strategic data capabilities to enhance analytics, insight generation, and MI reporting for the C&AFC function.

  • Solid understanding of data governance principles, including metadata management, data lineage, data quality, and the importance of maintaining robust data catalogues.
