Job Description

The Product Owner for our global Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform is responsible within one or more Agile Teams for continuously assessing the ROI and providing business prioritisation of backlogs. You act as a bridge between business and development, ensuring that the Agile Release Train (ART) works on the highest business value generating items across multiple teams. You define and drive the vision and roadmap for our CLM product, refine requirements, serve as the primary interface for stakeholders, and align the products with the company strategy. You keep close contact with stakeholders and foster agile values and principles. You lead in close collaboration with Scrum Masters/RTEs, Architects and agile teams.

▪ Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision in line with company strategy. Regularly refine the vision based on feedback and changing market conditions. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, risks, opportunities, and trends and design end-to-end processes.

▪ Backlog Management ad Value Maximisation: Build, prioritise, and maintain the Product Backlog or ART Backlog. Clearly formulate and rank initiatives, epics and user stories. Decide on priorities based on business value, company goals, and technical feasibility. Owns product roadmap, release planning, and optimises delivery and operations through Sprints/Program Increments (PI).

▪ Stakeholder Management: Gather and manage requirements from all relevant stakeholders. Address issues, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth delivery. Actively contributes to collaboration and feedback loops between business, stakeholders, development, and quality assurance to ensure value delivery. Champions client focus.

▪ Release Management and Continuous Improvement: Coordinates releases and approvals; is a key stakeholder for adherence to Definition of Ready/Done; responsible for market introduction and communication of releases. Analyses KPIs, customer feedback, and market data to further develop the product. Fosters and lives agile principles, continuous learning, and innovation. 

▪ Methodical Leadership: Leverages agile tools for transparency, planning, and documentation. Prepares and is key stakeholder for backlog refinement and workshops.

Requirements

- Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent. Basic SAFe, Scrum, or other recognised agile certification preferred.

- Professional experience: Several years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in an agile environment. Deep understanding of the users of the product(s) and their needs, enhanced by domain experience and user journeys. Several years of experience in private banking required.

▪ Track record: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Proven success in defining, developing, and delivering (digital) products or services. Experience dealing with stakeholders, requirements engineering, prioritising, and representing business value.

▪ Technical skills: Proficient in Agile tools and methodologies. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software applications.

▪ Travel flexibility: Primarily within Europe, with occasional global travel

▪ Language skills: Proficient in both written and spoken German and English
