We are looking for a Client Engineer in Barcelona, Spain, on a hybrid 3 days a week. We can support with visa sponsorship from any location.

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy/MMO title, creating a team of talented and passionate game makers to join us on this exciting journey!
To help achieve our goals, we are looking for a Client Engineer focused on building and improving Real User Monitoring (RUM), client observability and telemetry capabilities within our Unity client. This role will help the project understand the real player experience in the game, transforming questions and needs from across the team into reliable, actionable signals.
What You’ll Do
- Professional experience developing and operating live games with the Unity engine.
- Excellent C# programming skills and strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
- Experience designing, implementing or evolving client-side monitoring, telemetry, observability or diagnostics capabilities for a live product.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous live-game issues into practical technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in the development process; able to understand their goals and evaluate technical approaches that meet them.
- Experience with version control, build tools and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (for example, GitHub Copilot, Codex or Claude Code), and an understanding of how agentic workflows can augment engineering productivity.

- Experience collaborating with LiveOps, Community or player-support teams to investigate player-facing issues.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
- Knowledge of game design principles and user experience.
- Familiarity with additional game engines, such as Unreal.
