Position Purpose:

Eruvaka helps shrimp and aquaculture farmers make feeding more precise and farm operations more predictable. Its integrated ecosystem combines intelligent feeding devices, water-quality monitoring and farm-management software with real-time data and AI-enabled insights. This enables farmers to respond faster to changing pond conditions, improve feed efficiency, productivity and operational control, and reduce biological and commercial risk.

The CEO Eruvaka has full accountability for the strategy, performance and development of Eruvaka, including its direct P&L and the value created through sales and deployment via other Nutreco operating companies. You are at the heart of our purpose: Feeding the Future. The role leads a highly technology-driven business that develops its own connected hardware, software, data, and AI-enabled solutions for our customers. Building on Eruvaka’s transition from greenfield venture to a scaled international platform, the CEO will deliver profitable growth, deepen integration with Nutreco’s aquaculture business and digital agenda, and unlock expansion into new geographies, livestock applications and potential M&A opportunities.

The role leads Eruvaka’s India-based organization and management team and operates across a complex global matrix, partnering closely with the Chief Digital Officer, Skretting leadership, and commercial teams in our Business Units and OpCos.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy Execution 

• Set and execute Eruvaka’s strategy and business plan, translating market, customer and technology opportunities into clear priorities, investment choices and measurable outcomes. 
• Accelerate expansion in Asia and other priority markets, broaden the proposition across Aquaculture and Livestock Feed, and evaluate partnerships and M&A opportunities. 

P&L and value delivery 

• Own business performance, including revenue, profitability, cash, budgets and resource allocation. 
• Optimize both direct commercial results and value delivered through Nutreco OpCos, supported by disciplined business cases, portfolio choices and performance management. 

Technology, product and innovation 

• Shape an integrated product and technology roadmap across connected devices, software, data, AI and services. 
• Balance sustaining and scaling proven products with new launches and longer-term innovation, ensuring robust, secure, compliant and commercially viable solutions. 

Commercial and customer leadership 

• Build strong customer and partner relationships and translate farm-level needs into differentiated propositions. 
• Strengthen go-to-market models, recurring and service-based revenues, customer success and adoption, in close partnership with Skretting and local OpCos. 

Operations

• Ensure reliable end-to-end execution across product development, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, deployment and 24/7 customer support. 
• Build scalable processes without losing Eruvaka’s entrepreneurial speed and ownership. 
• Enforces full compliance with all statutory regulations, policies and procedures in HSE (health, safety, environment) and quality, in order to ensure a safe and healthy working environment at the department with a minimal footprint on its environment

People and organisation 

• Lead, develop and inspire the Eruvaka management team and wider organization with purpose, values and own it culture. 
• Build critical technology, commercial and leadership capabilities, strengthen succession and create a high-performance, inclusive culture with clear accountability. 

Enterprise integration and governance 

• Position Eruvaka clearly within Nutreco’s Digital and business landscape and build effective governance and interfaces across Digital & IT, Skretting and Livestock Feed. 
• Ensure full compliance with Nutreco and SHV standards for safety, ethics, finance, legal, data and risk. 

Required Qualifications 

Education 

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Engineering, Digital Transformation, or related discipline. 

Experience 

• Proven senior general management experience with full P&L accountability in a technology-enabled, product-led or industrial technology business.
• Demonstrated success scaling a business across geographies, channels and customer segments, ideally combining direct sales with partner or operating-company routes to market.
• Strong understanding of technology product businesses that combine hardware, software, data and services; experience with IoT, AI, automation or connected devices is a strong advantage.
• Experience shaping strategy, innovation portfolios and investment choices, with exposure to partnerships, acquisitions or post-acquisition integration.
• Proven leadership of sizeable, multidisciplinary teams and the ability to build capability, succession and an accountable high-performance culture.
• Comfort operating in an international organization, global matrix influencing senior stakeholders. Professional working proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
• Aquaculture, agriculture, or animal nutrition experience is an advantage, especially practical understanding of the shrimp industry and credibility with Shrimp farmers.
