The Business Performance Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Manulife's business operations by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful management information. This position is responsible for providing reporting and analytical support to key business functions, with a primary focus on sales production reporting, manpower reporting, and management information system (MIS) reporting.
The successful candidate will leverage strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of business reporting principles to generate meaningful insights, support decision-making, and drive operational excellence across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the relevant processes to ensure timely and accurate processing and delivery of MCBL and CBC reports based on agreed SLAs.
- Effective and proper creation, generation and implementation of new / enhanced reports that may be required by management.
- Accurate data processing, including computation of simple non-system-based compensation / incentives processing.
- Initiates work process improvement.
- Prepares work process documentations as part of records management.
- Undertakes special projects to support on-going operations / system enhancements.
- Manage the periodic updates for contests, promotions, and conferences, ensuring alignment with established mechanics and fulfillment of post-event requirements.
- Perform data simulations for contests, promotions, and conferences to maintain budgetary compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop visual dashboard reports, including charts, graphs, and diagrams, to facilitate efficient data presentation and strategic analysis of key performance indicators.
- Continuously enhance the current reporting processes and conduct periodic reviews to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and key performance indicators.
- Actively participate in and contribute to various distribution projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with multiple departments, including MCBL Distribution and other business units, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent technical skills and programming skills, knowledgeable in financial spreadsheets preparation and trend analysis data simulation and report commentary writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to do data simulation
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree holder with major in B.S. Computer Science, Business Management, Economics, Math, Accounting or other financial courses
- Ability to successfully perform assigned tasks consistent within production processing and other channel requirements.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within agreed SLA.
