Join our Asset Management Distribution team and gain exposure to the retail funds and investment distribution industry. This role provides an opportunity to support relationship managers covering private banks and retail banking partners while developing foundational knowledge of investment products, sales processes, and distribution channels. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business growth initiatives, distributor engagement activities, and sales reporting. This position is ideal for a recent graduate who is interested in building a career in asset management sales and distribution.
Position Responsibilities
- Support the distribution team in managing relationships with private bank and retail bank partners.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, product materials, and investment updates.
- Coordinate distributor onboarding and administrative processes.
- Maintain and update sales pipeline, client activity, and business tracking reports.
- Support training sessions, product briefings, and distributor engagement activities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to respond to distributor requests and inquiries.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor industry news, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure sales records and documentation are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support business development initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of work experience.
- Internship experience in sales support, asset management, banking, wealth management, insurance, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in investments, financial markets, or wealth management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship experience supporting relationship managers, sales teams, or distribution channels.
- Basic understanding of investment products such as mutual funds, equities, fixed income, or multi-asset solutions.
- Progress toward or interest in pursuing professional investment qualifications such as CFA, IBF, CMFAS, CISI, or equivalent.
- Experience preparing presentations, reports, or sales analytics.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, or client management platforms.
