Role Description

The Business Management Specialist focuses on building knowledge and experience across Business Management activities that includes direct costs management, headcount management, External Workforce etc. and provides analysis to support the Global business management team’s requests. Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals. Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans, utilising comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business. Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units.

Your key responsibilities

•  Manage all activities related to our External Workforce (onboarding, renewals, exit) and therewith associated financials in line with the guidance/policies and rules established by Central COO.
• Governance of people data in Workday to ensure accuracy at all times. This includes accurate Pos/Vendor information but also reporting lines in the source system.  
• Independent and self-sufficiently run reports, investigate discrepancies and update Resource Data in Workday.
• Invoice reconciliation in Ariba for Labor relates expenditures.
• Communicate and cascade quarterly changes of rules/policies related to External labor to a wide audience in GNS/DC
• Support Management with analysis and investigations
• Enter Expenditures in a business owned system called Netappls
• Update documentation such as KOP (Key Desktop Procedure) and a Master file for resource data.
• Collaboratively work with other Business colleagues on BM activities which require excellent communication, such as Newsletter, presentations, myDB updates etc.
• Budget Control and Reporting – on-going financials tracking and reporting / Project-wise spend /  FTE tracking / Resource utilization and analysis as required
• Analyses YTD performance and develops target suggestions based on the business strategy
• Preparation of strategy focused presentation materials and documentation for Senior Level management on a regular basis
• Creates reports that provide insight about our performance in both financials and headcounts
• Provides the data needed for proper cost allocation, modelling
• Supplies key analysis for portions of the monthly MI
• Performs ad-hoc analysis for senior management
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations as well as internal and external policies and procedures
• The business manager is in charge of the organization’s day-to-day operations. They manage employees, supervise work, and ensure the company policies are met.
• Implementing recommendations to improve processes and procedures
• Adhering to legal guidelines and local, state, and federal laws
• Building trust and long-term relationships with managers, executives, vendors, and clients

Your skills and experience

• Workforce Mgmt, Business Management, Financial Management, worked on any tool like Workday, Peoplesoft, SAP BO
• Must have: Business Management experience, Ariba/dbBuyer, knowledge of financials and accounting
• Proven Business management experience and knowledge of Project Management
• Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is critical – Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred
• Reporting experience with BI tools ex. Tableau, Power BI, SAP BO etc would be a plus
• Proven experience in coordinating with internal stakeholders (Business / COO / Finance teams)
• Demonstrated capability of problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgment, assertiveness
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently showing drive and initiative with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Flexible problem-solver, open minded to receiving input from colleagues
• Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within the team environment
• Ability to work within virtual global teams in a matrix organization and across all levels of management and staff

Key Skills / Experience

• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in finance or related discipline
