As a Business Development Representative (BDR) on our Inspection & Real Estate team, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for prospective customers interested in our home inspection software.
You’ll primarily manage and qualify inbound leads from website inquiries, incoming sales calls, and live chat, while also conducting targeted outreach to previously engaged prospects. By understanding each prospect’s needs and our three software platforms, you’ll identify the right fit and connect qualified prospects with Account Executives through live transfers, booked demos, or scheduled sales calls.
What You Will Do As A Business Development Representative
Respond to and qualify inbound leads across phone, live chat, email, and SMS
Ask discovery questions to understand each prospect’s business, needs, current solution, and level of interest
Develop strong knowledge of all three home inspection software platforms, as well as familiarity with our broader products and services, to identify the right solution for each prospect
Convert qualified prospects into AE opportunities through live transfers, booked demos, or scheduled sales calls
Conduct targeted outbound outreach and follow-up with previously engaged prospects and high-quality re-engagement lists
Maintain accurate prospect activity, qualification details, and notes in Salesforce
Work toward individual and team goals related to lead response time, conversion, qualified opportunity volume, and outbound activity
What You Will Bring As A Business Development Representative
At least 3 years of business development, sales development, inside sales, or other customer-facing experience; experience selling to or working with SMB customers preferred.
Native-level spoken and written English proficiency, with the ability to confidently handle fast-paced, unscripted customer conversations.
Strong listening and discovery skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and determine the appropriate next step
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable balancing real-time inbound conversations with proactive follow-up
Coachable and able to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Comfortable learning multiple software products and motivated by measurable sales goals
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred
Experience working with global and/or US based business teams
Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload
What You Will Get Supporting Porch Group
Monthly Salary: COP 4,500,000.00
Monthly incentive bonus: COP 1,005,000.00 target, variable based on individual performance
You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
