BIM Technician – Design & Engineering Production Hub, PhilippinesJob Description Summary
Cushman & Wakefield is establishing a Design and Engineering Production Hub in the Philippines to support its Project & Development Services, Data Centre Group and Building Engineering Services teams. The Hub will provide modelling, drawing, engineering and document production support to hub offices, with an initial workload of international projects. Over time, it is intended to grow into a full design and engineering centre supporting hub offices with project delivery. BIM Technicians produce the Hub’s models and drawings under the BIM Lead. We are looking for candidates who either perform at a high level in one discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Architectural), or are willing to generalise and model across disciplines as project demand requires.Produce accurate, well-structured Revit models and drawings to Hub standards and project requirements. Work across multiple international projects, support multi-disciplinary coordination, and deliver to agreed programmes.
Job Description
2.0 – Key Responsibilities:
2.1 – Model Production
- Build and develop Revit models for large buildings, in own discipline or across disciplines, to the required level of development.
- Model from design mark-ups, sketches, calculations and consultant information.
- Create and maintain families, types and parameters in line with Hub standards.
- Work within worksharing, linked model and cloud collaboration environments.
2.2 – Drawings & Documentation
- Produce general arrangement drawings, sections, details and schedules from the model.
- Extract quantities and data from models as required.
- Update models and drawings to incorporate design changes and review comments.
- Issue drawings in line with Hub document control procedures.
2.3 – Coordination & Quality
- Carry out clash detection and support resolution with other disciplines.
- Self-check models and drawings against Hub standards and the BIM Execution Plan before review.
- Maintain model health, naming conventions and file structure.
2.4 – Delivery
- Deliver allocated tasks to agreed hours and programme, flagging issues early to the BIM Lead.
- Manage own workload across concurrent projects and time zones.
- Record time accurately against project scopes.
2.5 – Development & Collaboration
- Build skills in additional disciplines where willing, to increase flexibility across the Hub.
- Share knowledge and contribute ideas to improve workflows, templates and families.
- Work collaboratively with Hub engineers, the architectural team and hub office project teams.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience as a BIM Technician, BIM Modeler, or Design Technician within an engineering, architectural, consulting, or construction environment.
- Develop, update, and maintain BIM models and construction drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM/design software, with experience in model coordination, drawing production, clash detection support, and quality assurance reviews.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with local and international project teams, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
