Become part of TruStage Ventures and support the continued growth of an ecosystem connecting fintech companies, credit unions and industry partners. This role supports platform initiatives that deliver value to portfolio companies and strengthen engagement across the broader fintech and credit union ecosystem. The Ventures Platform Associate will support portfolio company onboarding and engagement, the Fintech Forum Community and Webinar Series, signature events, website and digital content, social media, media coordination and program reporting. As part of a small team with an entrepreneurial spirit, this role requires flexibility, strong execution, sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

·   Support new portfolio company onboarding by gathering company information and marketing assets; coordinating website, community and portfolio-material updates; maintaining contact records; and connecting companies to available Ventures resources.

·   Support management of active portfolio companies through recurring check-ins, agendas, meeting materials, notes, action items, follow-up and coordination of requests, introductions and ecosystem opportunities.

·   Run the Fintech Forum Webinar Series from strategy through execution, including topic research, speaker and panel outreach, preparation, webinar setup, registration, audience lists, email campaigns, internal sales communications, day-of execution and follow-up, while reviewing performance and participant feedback to grow registration, attendance and engagement.

·   Support the Fintech Forum Community by onboarding members, maintaining lists and platform content, publishing program and portfolio updates, responding to participant needs and helping develop strategies to grow membership and increase engagement.

·   Support the strategy, planning and execution of TruStage Ventures signature events for 250 or more participants, including event objectives, programming, agendas, participant experience, registration, invitation lists, email campaigns, speakers, sponsors, creative deliverables, presentations, logistics and follow-up.

·   Support Ventures website management, including portfolio company pages, event and program information and other digital content

·   Run the TruStage Ventures social media by managing the content calendar, drafting posts, gathering assets, coordinating approvals, publishing or scheduling content and tracking engagement in collaboration with TruStage social teams.

·   Support media and public relations activities with internal stakeholders by gathering background information, coordinating portfolio company news and opportunities, and preparing briefing materials, talking points and other supporting content.

·   Create and support email campaigns, newsletters, announcements, portfolio company materials, company overviews, presentations and other Ventures content and collateral.

·   Maintain contact lists, databases, program trackers, and reporting tools

·   Manage and maintain the Speakers Playbook by developing thought-leadership sessions for the Ventures team, collecting and refining session proposals from portfolio companies, and partnering closely with the TruStage Speakers Bureau to secure an average of 70+ speaking placements annually.

·   Track and report key metrics for portfolio engagement, webinars, community programs, events, social media, communications and promotional activities; use results to recommend program improvements.

Job Requirements:

·   Bachelor's degree

·   Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in marketing, communications, program management, community management, venture capital, financial services or a related field.

·   Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written and verbal communications.

·   Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, recurring programs and deadlines with limited oversight.

·   Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to coordinate work across internal and external stakeholders.

·   Ability to make informed decisions and deliver results under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and fluid work environment.

·   Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, with the ability to create polished presentations and program materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in marketing
  • Experience in marketing, social media, communications, program management or event execution.
  • Experience managing webinars, digital communities, website content or recurring audience-engagement programs.

TruStage may process applicant information using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool.  This tool automatically generates a screening score based on how well applicant information matches the requirements and qualifications for the position. TruStage recruiters use the screening score as a guide to further evaluate candidates; the score is one component of an application review and does not automatically determine whether a candidate moves forward.  Candidates may choose to opt out of this process.

At TruStage, we believe a sound, inclusive benefits program is of vital importance, along with a flexible workplace that allows for work-life balance, career growth and retirement assistance. In addition to your base pay, your position may be eligible for an annual incentive (bonus) plan.  Additional benefits available to eligible employees include medical, dental, vision, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability plans, parental leave, paid time off, 401k, and tuition reimbursement, just to name a few. Beyond pay and benefits, we also recognize that flexibility, including working in a place you prefer, is essential to caring for our employees.  We will continue to strive to offer flexibility and invest in technology and other tools that will make hybrid working normal rather than an exception, so that when “life happens,” you can focus on what’s most important.
