Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Participate in the design, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.
Understand hardware and software interactions.
Participate in the development of designs and test documentation.
Develop knowledge of SEL engineering processes.
Develop knowledge of SEL products and technology.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Include:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Object oriented design - Object oriented languages (C#)
Graphical User Interface applications in Window environments including object oriented design and object oriented languages (C#)
Web application development including back-end webservices (ASP.NET, C#) and front-end web design (React, typescript)
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience with C# and Typescript development
Web development experience with React
Experience with user experience (UX) design
Experience with revision control systems (Git)
Experience with automated testing (Jest, NUnit)
General understanding of cybersecurity, user authentication and authorization
Experience working with a team

Pay Range Data - $81,300 - $122,000
We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Associate level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
