We are looking for an Associate Content Editor - IP Law (Japanese and English-speaking) to join our Content Editing team. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about IP Law, especially within Japan. We would love to speak with you if you have a law degree, good knowledge of Japanese and English language, as well as knowledge of IP Law.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient level of Japanese and English language (C1).

- Knowledge of the IP Law and Japanese Law.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Apply curation and analysis of IP case law within assigned product database.
- Improve data discoverability through the extraction and analysis of IP case law data points within assigned product database.
- Deliver high-quality records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure, and timeliness of record updates.
- Play an active role in team and maintain awareness of current trends and new developments in area of expertise.
- Monitor and prioritize the daily volume based on the product requirements.
About the Team
This part of the Content Editing team is focused on Darts IP content in Japan for trademarks and designs. Darts IP is a comprehensive, searchable IP cases solution. We ingest and curate thousands of trademark cases and many of them concern conflicts between trademarks, where the similarity of goods and/or services is also being discussed.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
