Job Description & Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate to join our Tax Reporting and Strategy team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals to support clients in meeting their tax, accounting and payroll compliance obligations while building a strong foundation in tax reporting and advisory services.
You will gain exposure to a diverse range of industries, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and develop the skills needed to grow your career in tax and professional services.
What you will be doing
As an Associate, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the delivery of statutory tax, accounting and payroll compliance engagements.
Assist with the preparation of tax returns, tax calculations and regulatory filings.
Gather, organise and analyse client information to support engagement delivery.
Communicate with tax, social insurance and other regulatory authorities as required.
Conduct research on tax legislation and regulations and assist in preparing client deliverables.
Prepare draft reports, tax memoranda, working papers and other engagement documentation.
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver quality outcomes and meet client deadlines.
Use technology and digital tools to improve work efficiency and accuracy.
Produce high-quality work that complies with professional, regulatory and firm standards.
Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues through responsive and professional communication.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics, professional standards and business conduct.
What you will bring along
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
Strong analytical, report writing and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work within deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mongolian.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Client service orientation, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
