The salary range for this role is $55,400.00 to $69,300.00 CAD. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

Join our North America Accounting team and build a strong foundation for a long-term career in finance and accounting. As an Associate Accountant, you'll gain broad exposure to accounting operations, month-end close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance while partnering with colleagues across the business. What You'll Do

• Support monthly close activities for statutory and management general ledgers.
• Complete intercompany and balance sheet account reconciliations and participate in the global intercompany reconciliation process.
• Record daily accounting transactions, including intercompany billings, purchases, and inventory activity.
• Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting requirements for business partners and brand owners.
• Support the preparation of Pernod Ricard reporting packages.
• Manage purchase order generation through both automated and manual processes.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare routine journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform inventory reconciliations across multiple locations.
• Support monthly VAT and sales tax filings and remittances for multiple entities.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects, process improvements, and special assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in a similar environment.
• Interest in pursuing a Canadian CPA designation; CPA Ontario student registration preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, and IFRS principles.
• Experience working with integrated accounting systems and transactional accounting processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with JD Edwards E1 and Hubble (Insight Software) is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
