We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Responsible for providing direction and channelizing Marsh’s internal expertize & resources.
• Coordination with all stakeholders for efficient handling of large & complex claims.
• Extend guidance to all practice teams to establish continued internal processes for delivering claim services.
• Provide direct assistance to Marsh Clients in preparation of claims documentation and in following up with insurance companies.

• Support new business opportunities requiring claims consultancy/advisory on leads generated by sales & marketing teams.
• Establish and maintain links with the markets, stakeholders in claims and other related professionals such as lawyers, investigators etc.
• To organize claim centric workshops & seminars with the help of practice colleagues.
• Improve staff capability by providing relevant trainings.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients.
• Support development/enhancement of Claims Systems and claims operations.

What you need to have:

• Domain knowledge preferred.
• 15+ years of commercial line claims and underwriting experience gained from a loss adjuster/surveyor/underwriter/insurance company.
• Experience in people management required.
