Cushman & Wakefield is establishing a Design and Engineering Production Hub in the Philippines to support its Project & Development Services, Data Centre Group and Building Engineering Services teams. The Hub will provide modelling, drawing, engineering and document production support to hub offices, with an initial workload of international projects. Over time, it is intended to grow into a full design and engineering centre supporting hub offices with project delivery. We are looking for a technical architect who can develop practical layouts for a range of building typologies and carry them through into coordinated Revit models and drawings. The ability to produce renders and visualisations is an advantage.Develop architectural layouts, test fits and massing options across different building typologies, and deliver them as coordinated Revit models and drawings. Support hub office project teams from early feasibility through to design development.
Job Description
2.0 – Key Responsibilities:
2.1 – Layout & Design Development
- Develop building layouts, test fits and space plans from client briefs and hub office direction.
- Work across a range of typologies, including commercial, industrial, residential and data centre buildings.
- Prepare site plans, massing studies and area schedules to support feasibility and option studies.
- Apply the building, fire and planning requirements relevant to each project location.
2.2 – Revit Modelling & Documentation
- Build and develop architectural models in Revit to Hub standards.
- Produce plans, sections, elevations, details and schedules.
- Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines, and support clash resolution.
- Update models and drawings to reflect design changes and review comments.
2.3 – Visualisation
- Produce presentation drawings, diagrams and 3D views for client reports and bids.
- Produce renders from the model where skills allow.
2.4 – Quality & Delivery
- Self-check outputs before review, following Hub QA procedures.
- Deliver allocated tasks to agreed hours and programme, flagging issues early to the Team Leader.
- Record time accurately against project scopes.
2.5 – Development & Collaboration
- Work closely with the BIM Lead on standards and with Hub engineers on coordination.
- Contribute to the Hub’s library of layouts, templates and standard details.
- Support a collaborative, accountable and delivery-focused team culture.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, with 3 to 5 years of experience in an architectural practice, design consultancy, or multidisciplinary design environment.
- Proven experience developing practical, efficient, and high-quality architectural layouts across a variety of building typologies, supported by a strong portfolio of design and documentation work.
- Proficiency in Revit for architectural modeling and documentation, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and an understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Strong understanding of building codes, fire safety regulations, accessibility standards, and the integration of architectural design with structural and building services disciplines.
- Excellent graphic, presentation, and communication skills, with proficiency in architectural visualization and rendering tools such as Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion, or V-Ray considered a strong advantage. Experience in data centers, industrial, commercial, or other technically complex projects and collaboration with international project teams is highly desirable.
