Responsibilities:
Provide Technical Support for the full Copeland product portfolio (compressors, controls and accessories) to customers in Colombia and Venezuela including but not limited to:
Product selection
Development of application profiles and technical bulletins
Warranty Administration
Sample Coordination
Customer training at designated locations
Development of cross references or specific documentation that can support commercial initiatives
Production Line Support for pilot runs
Field support and troubleshooting
Be a liaison between end users and OEMs to identify opportunities in which Copeland products can be specified
Proactively interact with cross functional teams including Product Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality and Sales through designated tasks to enhance our customer support
Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related engineering
Desired 2-5 years in application/product engineering of AC and/or Refrigeration
Excellent communication skills including the ability to successfully present to customers (including large groups) and senior leadership
Ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits
Understanding of quality metrics
Ability to handle measuring and adjusting tools
Customer focus.
Spanish and English proficency
Travel requirements: Up to 25%
