Resource Innovations is seeking an Appliance Delivery Technician to join our growing team in the San Diego area. Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the Appliance Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering and installing energy-efficient refrigerators and other appliances in residential settings and removing existing units for recycling. This position provides excellent customer service while ensuring that all deliveries, installations, assessments, and documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.

Essential Functions:
- Deliver and remove appliances, primarily refrigerators, in accordance with applicable installation standards and program requirements.
- Assess appliance eligibility and installation feasibility to determine whether customers qualify for replacement.
- Explain the Energy Savings Assistance Program, appliance replacement process, and anticipated energy-saving benefits to customers.
- Communicate the timing of installation, follow-up activities, and any subsequent program phases.
- Provide customers with energy-conservation education and cost-saving recommendations.
- Accurately document deliveries, assessments, installations, observations, and customer information using required program forms and data-collection systems.
- Maintain accurate appliance inventory records and keep warehouse inventory organized.
- Monitor inventory levels, submit appliance purchase quantities, and receive incoming deliveries.
- Promptly address delivery issues, installation concerns, and equipment warranty matters.
- Update program databases with assessment and installation results.
- Maintain company vehicles, including completing required inspections, coordinating routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and conduct work in a manner that protects the health and safety of employees, customers, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of professional work experience is preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and/or performing residential building maintenance or repairs.
- Valid California driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and the minimum required level of automobile insurance.
- Familiarity with the geography of San Diego County.
- Ability to use program data-collection and reporting systems to accurately document work and monitor production and performance.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage scheduled appointments, and complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Work is primarily performed in residential, warehouse, and field environments.
- Ability to safely move, load, unload, and maneuver refrigerators and other large household appliances using appropriate equipment and established safety procedures.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift while completing deliveries and appliance removals.
- Regular travel throughout San Diego County is required.
- Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on operational or customer needs.

Compensation & Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $25/hour - $27/hour. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
