The APAC Aurora Customer Solution Lead will be responsible for overseeing the SAP implementation within a designated function—such as GBS, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial Solutions, or DTS—along with its respective segment. This role plays a vital part in driving process standardization, managing business resources engaged in the project, and ensuring the SAP solution effectively supports both operational needs and strategic business goals. Specifically, the lead will collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales teams to steer the implementation of the Order to Cash and Market to Order in ES4 HANA. This role will serve as the primary business representative for assigned countries and functions, acting as the bridge between the Aurora Program and business stakeholders leading business deployment activities across all implementation phases, including solution validation, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare with securing business alignment, readiness, and formal sign-off at key deployment milestones within the responsible functions.
- Lead the SAP implementation efforts for the assigned business function (e.g., GBS, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial Solutions, DTS) and segment (e.g., IPC)
- Drive process standardization across the function, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and validate business requirements
- Manage and coordinate all business resources within the assigned function to ensure their involvement in key project activities such as design, testing, and training
- Ensure the alignment of the SAP solution with the function’s operational needs and business objectives
- Facilitate communication and decision-making within the functional workstream, escalating issues to the Implementation Lead as needed
- Oversee and contribute to functional testing, data migration, user training, and post-go-live support
- Act as a key point of contact for resolving functional-specific challenges
- Work closely with other functional leads to ensure cross-functional integration and coordination
- Support change management efforts to promote successful adoption of SAP within the function
- Report to Business Implementation lead
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business transformation or functional leadership roles, preferably within SAP implementations
- Deep understanding of the assigned business function (e.g., finance, supply chain, commercial)
- Proven ability to standardize and optimize business processes
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing business resources
- Fluent in English – Required (Additional languages desirable)
- Responsibilities of Customer Solutions: OTC (Order to Cash) & MTO (Market to Order)
- Integration of TPM (Trade Promotion System), GTS (Global Trade System), Billing, TM (Transportation Management), AR (Accounts Receivable)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong preference for candidates who have a background in Sales or a solid understanding of Customer Solutions areas
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to drive process improvements and influence decision-making within the function
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex issues
- Ability to balance project demands with the function's day-to-day operations
