As a Climate & Sustainability Analyst, you will combine quantitative rigor and AI-driven analytics with sharp commercial instinct to help market leaders navigate the net-zero transition.

Operating without regional boundaries, we combine proprietary datasets and rigorous cross-disciplinary analytics to help global market leaders seamlessly embed climate and sustainability into core enterprise strategy. In this role, you will report into the Pacific Practice Lead, driving high-impact client solutions across the region and globally.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborative Innovation & AI Transformation (Lead Driver): Thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional global team—bringing an open, growth-oriented mindset to constantly challenge legacy workflows. Actively design, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions and automated analytical pipelines across all practice areas to accelerate client delivery, scale proprietary toolkits, and pioneer next-gen climate advisory products.
- Rigorous Project Management & Execution: Own project lifecycles from scoping to delivery—driving cross-functional workstreams, enforcing strict quality standards, managing timelines, and seamlessly coordinating global stakeholder inputs to exceed client expectations.
- Climate & Nature Analytics: Execute quantitative analyses on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting (incl. financed emissions across asset classes), climate-related physical and transition risks (through scenario analysis methodologies), nature & biodiversity impacts and dependencies and target setting to evaluate clients’ key impacts, risk exposure and potential opportunities.
- Strategic Solutioning & Disclosures: Guide clients through global reporting standards, sustainability disclosure requirements and readiness, materiality assessments and relevant E&S risks and opportunities to craft sustainability-inclusive risk management frameworks, actionable transition plans and sustainability roadmaps.
- Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management: Collaboratively manage project workstreams with other team members, coordinate data collection processes, ensure quality control and synthesize complex technical outputs into executive-ready reports, briefings, and presentations with clear articulation of approaches and methodologies deployed.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Commercial Enablement: Support regional leadership and commercial teams to drive business development through technical solutioning and drafting of client pitches and proposals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: More than 3 years of relevant experience in assessing climate risk, performing ESG analysis / advisory and/or executing corporate sustainability efforts and reporting with proven track record in project management and stakeholder management at multiple levels.
- AI, Quantitative & Technical Innovation: Combine strong quantitative modeling and statistical thinking across financial and ESG datasets with hands-on Python programming, API integration, and agent development. Operating with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset, you will rapidly prototype, test, and deploy automated workflows and prompt-engineered solutions. Translating client delivery workflows and business requirements into scalable, market-ready AI capabilities.
- Executive Communication & High-Impact Storytelling: Exceptional written, visual, and verbal articulation with proven mastery in crafting boardroom-grade decks and C-suite briefings. Ability to command executive presence, captivate institutional audiences, and translate complex quant, code, and AI methodologies into decisive, high-stakes business narratives.
- Essential Abilities: The candidate is expected to demonstrate sharp analytical rigor, attention to details, a solution-oriented mindset and strong systems thinking acumen to navigate problem statements, strategize action plans and distil assessment findings into coherent, business-useful insights.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Economics, Sustainable Finance, Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Technical Standards & Frameworks: Solid grounding in core sustainability and disclosure frameworks, incl. GHG Protocol, SBTi, PCAF, ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2) and their regional variations, SASB and TNFD.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Articulate written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience structuring high-quality presentation decks, executive summaries, and captivate the audience.
- Analytical Toolkit: Advanced quantitative and data modelling capabilities in Excel; ability to synthesize large, complex environmental and financial datasets.
- Language: Proficiency in a local language apart from English is preferred.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Data Analytics Tools: Working familiarity with data analysis and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, R, or SQL) and/or geospatial mapping tools (GIS) for physical/nature risk screening.
- Portfolio Analytics: Prior experience in sustainability portfolio analytics and performance attribution (e.g., portfolio financed emissions, portfolio climate risk, stress testing) from a financial institution would be strongly preferred.
- Sustainable Finance Literacy: Operational understanding of Sustainable Finance Principles and taxonomies incl. ICMA, CBI, EU and regional taxonomies and E&S risk management frameworks within banking incl. Equator Principles and IFC Performance Standards not mandatory but good to have.
