  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with former Raptors players, their families and representatives, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Navigate complex or sensitive alumni matters with sound judgment, empathy and discretion, balancing individual needs with organizational priorities and established program guidelines.
  • Create meaningful year-round engagement opportunities that strengthen alumni connections to the Raptors organization.
  • Lead planning and execution of all alumni events, appearances and special initiatives, ensuring a best-in-class experience.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Basketball Operations, Marketing, Community Impact, Partnerships, Events, Communications, Legal, Finance and Hospitality and the NBAPA to deliver seamless alumni experiences.
  • Develop and maintain organized systems for alumni communications, profiles, preferences and engagement history.
  • Manage program budgets, vendors and operational timelines while ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactively identify mutually beneficial opportunities that align alumni interests and strengths with organization priorities (including fan day engagement, community initiatives, corporate partnerships and business development), while protecting the authenticity of the alumni relationship.
  • Measure program success through engagement metrics, feedback and continuous program improvements.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in player development, VIP hospitality or client management, preferably within professional sports.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with high-profile individuals while exercising discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational and event execution skills.
  • Experience coordinating complex travel and logistics for executives, athletes or VIP guests.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence and work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and travel as required.

What Success Looks Like

  • A thriving, best-in-class Raptors Alumni Program with high alumni engagement and participation.
  • Strong, lasting relationships with former Raptors players.
  • Flawless execution of alumni events and travel.
  • Cross-functional collaboration that integrates alumni into key organizational initiatives while preserving and celebrating the legacy of the Toronto Raptors.
