Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Labor Pool Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Emergency Medicine team and provide coverage across multiple Riverside locations, including:

• Newport News
• Williamsburg
• Gloucester
• Smithfield

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians to care for patients of all ages in diverse emergency care settings. Providers have opportunities to participate in medical education initiatives, quality improvement projects, clinical research, and organizational committees.

Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg

A state-of-the-art 40-bed hospital with a 12-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.

Highlights include:

• First Emergency Department in Virginia to receive the American College of Emergency Physicians Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation
• DNV Certified Primary Stroke Center

Riverside Walter Reed Hospital | Gloucester

A 67-bed hospital with an 11-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.

Highlights include:

• DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center
• American College of Cardiology Certified Chest Pain Center

Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital

Located on Virginia's beautiful Eastern Shore, this modern 40-bed hospital includes a 12-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.

• DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner

Education & Licensure

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Virginia Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility
• National Nurse Practitioner certification

Physician Assistant

Education & Licensure

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Virginia Physician Assistant license or eligibility

Required for All Candidates

• Current Virginia license or eligibility for licensure
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
