The Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our APAC Finance team based at our Northgate head office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a large, collaborative finance team supporting a high volume of veterinary clinic customer accounts across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring account integrity, timely collections and exceptional service delivery. Your responsibilities will include –

• Managing a large portfolio of customer accounts across the APAC region.
• Performing account reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies.
• Opening and closing customer accounts in line with company procedures.
• Managing collections activities and following up outstanding payments.
• Responding to customer account enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Processing and allocating receipts across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding new account set-ups, customer enquiries and contract terms.
• Building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional. customer service

About You

Ideally you will display –

• A minimum of three years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Officer position within a large and complex organisation.
• Proven experience managing a high volume of customer accounts within a fast-paced environment
• Strong reconciliation skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to manage customer conversations over the phone, including difficult or sensitive discussions.
• A friendly and professional approach when dealing with a broad range of customers and stakeholders.
• Resilience and adaptability, with a positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement.
• Strong process discipline and the ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• The initiative to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills and confidence working with finance systems and Microsoft Office applications.
