Sigma Defense is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer V to join our team! The Cybersecurity Engineer ensures systems are able to be authorized following RMF process and coordinate the successful navigation of the full RMF lifecycle.

Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant Cybersecurity experience.
- Experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
- Ability to evaluate the security posture of complex systems and execute process and technical improvements to better meet compliance or risk mitigations objectives.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
- Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Cybersecurity Engineering or related field of study.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Coordinates with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to iteratively improve the security posture of the system based on the provided threat analysis and security architecture.
- Responsible for remediation of cybersecurity findings.
- Owns the development of multiple cyber security packages for system authorization.
- Collaborates with DevOps and Software engineers to accredit deployed secure platforms.
- Leads authorization efforts for the program.
- Owns authorization package and is responsible for generating deliverables to achieve authorization.
- Interprets requirements for authorization and implements requires changes.
- Contributes knowledge and leadership to improve cybersecurity posture of the team and system.
- Participates effectively in cybersecurity authorization reviews and communicates clearly to leadership, peers, and external stakeholders to ensure maintenance of system authorization.
Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000 annually.
