The Executive Assistant provides executive and administrative support to assigned executives and their leadership teams. They serve as a key point of contact for internal and external communications and manage a wide range of responsibilities that ensure the executive office operates efficiently and professionally. We are seeking a Senior Autonomy Systems Engineer with strong experience in data-driven system design, autonomy workflows, and large-scale data analysis. This role focuses on defining how we leverage data across mapping, simulation, and real-world logs to characterize operating environments, derive requirements, and guide system-level decisions.

This is a highly cross-functional role that blends systems thinking with hands-on technical depth in Python, cloud data access, and autonomy data pipelines.

• Lead ODD characterization efforts by analyzing large-scale datasets across real-world, simulated, and mapped environments

What You'll Do:   

As a Technical Product Manager for our Fleet Team, you will serve as a conduit between the needs of multiple engineering teams and fleet resources. You will prioritize needs across data collection, on-road testing, vehicle commissioning, V&V, and other engineering teams to provide guidance on optimal utilization of trucks and personnel in fleet. You will leverage best practices in program management to drive execution on a roadmap, including its dependencies, risks, and changes. You will leverage this roadmap, partnering with other TPMs, to inform the short- and long-term priorities of our fleet team to support engineering in advancing our company’s milestones. Additionally, you will represent fleet's needs from engineering, working alongside other TPMs to build out a plan to support fleet. 

 What You'll Need to Succeed:   

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Technical Program Manager in autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or similar industries.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related technical field plus demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through 6+ years of experience OR;  
  • Master’s Degree in STEM related technical field plus demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through 3+ years of experience

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Camera Models, you will develop and deploy machine learning models that power camera-based perception for autonomous trucks. The Camera Models team builds and maintains core vision systems that enable the autonomy stack to understand the environment, detect and localize objects, and estimate scene structure from camera data.

Working closely with teams across perception, data, and infrastructure, you will own the development and improvement of robust, scalable camera-based models that support safe and reliable autonomous driving in real-world freight environments.

This role focuses on owning model development for scoped problem areas, improving system performance through iteration, and delivering production-ready machine learning solutions within the autonomy stack.

As an Autonomous Fleet Specialist you will assist in the testing of autonomous vehicles – both in-cab and out and provides leadership and safe execution of tests related to development. The Manual CDL Driver is responsible for the safe operation of semi-trucks obeying all traffic laws and complying with DOT regulations. Completes inspections, driving reports and logs, services truck and trailer maintenance such as refueling, tire pressure, lights, etc., and ensures cargo is secured. Navigates inter and intrastate regulations, road and weather conditions, transportation barriers, other driver’s actions, etc.

What You’ll Do:

• Spend 90% of the work shift in the truck.
• Safely operate the truck manually in dynamic environments to capture value-added data
• Responsible for vehicle readiness, including pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring system connectivity is maintained, and verifying overall vehicle health is in good standing prior to and during operation. 
• Provide high-quality feedback to Engineering teams
• Communicate routing suggestions to maximize collection opportunities throughout the shift
• Ability to navigate in both bobtail or with trailing equipment, depending on environmental restrictions
• Driving and ensuring safe operation of semi-trucks obeying all traffic laws and complying with DOT regulations.
• Complete all inspections and safety checks before and after operation of the truck. Any safety concern must be

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our Freightliner fleet, while providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior mechanics.

The Principal Program Manager, Autonomous Truck Development Program is the PMO's senior-most program owner for Torc's core mission: bringing a safe, commercially ready autonomous trucking system to public roads and to production scale. This role operates at the enterprise program level — synthesizing execution across all technical, commercial, and operational domains into a coherent, visible, and accountable delivery system.

This is one of the most consequential program management roles in the autonomous vehicle industry. The role must hold two distinct delivery horizons simultaneously; leading company-wide efforts to (1) deliver on short & medium term demonstration points, while (2) maintaining long-term focus toward achieving start of production (SOP) to prepare for scaling the autonomous trucking system into a commercially viable product. These horizons demand different decisions, different timelines, and different risk tolerances, and this role is expected to make that tension visible, structured, and resolvable for executive leadership.

As the primary integration point for the Autonomous Truck Development Program, the Principal Program Manager partners directly with leaders across Engineering, Software, Safety, Test, Product, Operations, and Commercial teams, while interfacing with the strategy & planning function to ensure we remain tied into the long-term roadmap. En tant qu’ingénieur·e en apprentissage automatique, II - Comportements acquis, vous aiderez à développer et à déployer les modèles de comportements qui favorisent la prise de décision pour les camions autonomes. En travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de perception, de prédiction, de planification et de sécurité, vous contribuerez aux modules de comportements acquis permettant une conduite sécuritaire, efficace et semblable à celle d’un être humain lors d’opérations de transport dans le monde réel. Ce poste consiste à concevoir, valider et améliorer les modèles d’apprentissage automatique et l’infrastructure qui soutiennent les systèmes de comportements acquis au sein de la pile d’autonomie.

Ce que vous ferez 

• Développer et entraîner les modèles d’apprentissage automatique pour les systèmes de comportements acquis, y compris les approches comme le clonage de comportements, l’apprentissage par imitation et l’apprentissage par renforcement. 

• Mettre en œuvre un code d’AA de qualité production afin de soutenir l’entraînement, l’évaluation et l’inférence de modèles au sein de la pile d’autonomie. 

• Analyser le rendement de modèles, identifier les modes d’échec et proposer des améliorations afin d’augmenter la robustesse et la généralisation à travers différents scénarios. 

• Contribuer aux pipelines d’entraînement des modèles et flux de travail des données, organiser les ensembles de données des comportements provenant de la simulation, des registres de flotte et des données des véhicules. 

• Collaborer avec les équipes de simulation, de validation et d’ingénierie d’autonomie pour tester et évaluer les modèles de comportements acquis à travers divers environnements de conduite. 

• Aider à intégrer les modèles de comportements acquis dans les flux de travail de simulation et de test, permettant ainsi une itération plus rapide et une validation plus complète. 

• Soutenir le développement des outils et de l’infrastructure qui améliorent la vitesse d’expérimentation, la répétabilité et l’itération de modèles.

Comme Ingénieur·e en apprentissage automatique, II - Modèle de scène, vous contribuerez au développement et au déploiement de modèles d’apprentissage automatique qui permettent aux camions autonomes de comprendre leur environnement. Notre équipe travaille sur la conception de systèmes de perception multimodaux en représentation BEV (Bird's-Eye-View). Ceux-ci fusionnent les informations provenant des LiDARs, caméras, radars et cartes pour produire une représentation unifiée de la scène.  

En travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de perception, de prédiction, de planification et d’infrastructure de plateforme, vous contribuerez aux modèles qui détectent les objets, comprennent la structure des routes et génèrent des représentations spatio-temporelles utilisées par les systèmes de conduite autonome en aval.  

Ce poste consiste à développer et améliorer les modèles d’apprentissage profond, les pipelines d’entraînement et les flux de travail des données qui favorisent la compréhension au sein de la pile d’autonomie.

• Développer et entraîner les modèles d’apprentissage automatique pour la compréhension de scènes, ce qui comprend des tâches comme la détection d’objet, la prédiction de route et de voie, la classification de grille par voxel sémantique, la prédiction d’occupation et la compréhension de cartes dans un espace BEV. 

• Mettre en œuvre un code d’AA de qualité production afin d’appuyer l’entraînement, l’évaluation et l’inférence de modèles au sein de la pile de perception.

La mission de l’équipe Moteur d’application est de fournir une plateforme robuste, efficace et flexible pour l’intégration et la gestion de divers modèles et processus d’apprentissage profond dans le contexte du transport routier autonome de niveau 4. Il vise à rationaliser les flux de développement, à améliorer l’efficacité des équipes et à garantir des performances constantes ainsi que des normes de sécurité élevées. Le Moteur d’application se concentre sur la facilitation de la création de composants évolutifs, reproductibles et conformes aux exigences de sécurité, permettant aux équipes fonctionnelles de développer et de déployer efficacement des fonctionnalités avancées de conduite autonome.

• Développement d’un SDK de pipeline de traitement capable de s’étendre sur plusieurs systèmes sur puce distribués (SoC), en utilisant Ethernet, PCIe et des technologies similaires pour acheminer les données à travers différentes étapes de traitement.
• Optimisation de l’utilisation concurrente des ressources (mémoire, GPU) pour l’exécution parallèle de modèles entraînés sur un seul système sur puce
• Développement d’un environnement d’exécution utilisant le SDK App Engine pour déployer des applications de conducteur virtuel basées sur l’apprentissage automatique.
• Développement de fonctionnalités du SDK pour soutenir la création de logiciels de conducteur virtuel

En tant que qu’ingénieu(e) "Staff" en apprentissage automatique axé sur la détection des routes et des voies, vous dirigerez les efforts de développement de modèles qui permettent aux véhicules autonomes de Torc de percevoir et d’interpréter la géométrie des routes, les structures des voies et les surfaces carrossables avec précision et robustesse.

Vous définirez la prochaine génération d’architectures d’apprentissage approfondi et d’approches basées sur les données qui extraient la sémantique des routes et des voies à haute fidélité à partir de données de capteurs multimodaux, entraînant des améliorations critiques en matière de précision, de stabilité et d’évolutivité de la perception.

Il s’agit d’un rôle de leadership technique axé sur l’innovation et la maturité du modèle, et non sur l’intégration des fonctionnalités en aval.

Ce que vous ferez

• Posséder la feuille de route du modèle pour la détection des routes et des voies au sein de l’organisation d’apprentissage automatique de perception, du concept à la maturité du modèle de niveau de production.
• Recherche, conception et formation d’architectures neuronales avancées (par exemple, transformateurs BEV multicaméras, modèles de fusion LiDAR-vision, réseaux topologiques de graphes de voies) pour détecter, segmenter et modéliser les structures routières et la connectivité des voies.
• Diriger la stratégie des données pour ce domaine, définir la curation des données, les politiques d’étiquetage et les pipelines d’apprentissage actif pour capturer les scénarios de longue traîne (par exemple, les occlusions, les fusions complexes, les zones de construction).
• Développer des métriques robustes et des cadres d’évaluation pour la précision de la géométrie des voies et des routes, la cohérence temporelle et la généralisation interdomaines.
• Faire progresser les capacités fondamentales, telles que le préentraînement autosupervisé, l’adaptation du synthétique au réel et la modélisation temporelle pour la compréhension des routes et des voies.
• Mener des expériences à grande échelle : concevoir, exécuter et analyser les résultats des flux de travail de formation distribués et des ablations afin d’identifier des améliorations évolutives.
• Collaborer avec d’autres équipes de perception pour assurer la cohérence du modèle et de l’interface.
• Encadrer les ingénieurs et les scientifiques, en définissant les meilleures pratiques pour la formation, l’évaluation des modèles et la qualité du code.
• Rester à la pointe de la recherche en évaluant et en adaptant les techniques émergentes (par exemple, les grands modèles basés sur le BEV, la prédiction de cartes vectorisées, les transformateurs de graphes de voies) à la perception de niveau de production.

Ce dont vous aurez besoin pour réussir:

• 10 ans d’expérience et plus dans le développement de modèles d’apprentissage approfondi pour la perception ou la vision par ordinateur à l’échelle.
• Maîtrise ou doctorat en informatique, génie électrique, robotique ou autre domaine connexe (ou expérience équivalente).
• Expertise approfondie en segmentation sémantique et d’instance, en modélisation BEV ou en estimation de la topologie de la scène.
• Solide compréhension de la modélisation de la géométrie des voies et des routes, de l’étalonnage des caméras et de la projection des capteurs.
• Maîtrise de Python et des cadres modernes d’apprentissage automatique (par exemple, PyTorch, Lightning).
• Expérience des pipelines de formation distribués, de la gestion des expériences et de la manipulation d’ensembles de données à grande échelle.
• Leadership éprouvé dans l’orientation des feuilles de route techniques, le mentorat des ingénieurs et l’apport d’améliorations mesurables aux modèles.

Points bonus!

• Expérience dans le développement de modèles d’apprentissage automatique pour la conduite autonome, la cartographie ou les systèmes ADAS.
• Familiarité avec la fusion multimodale (caméra, LiDAR, radar, cartes HD).
• Expérience pratique des modèles de prédiction topologiques et basés sur le BEV.
• Contributions à la recherche en apprentissage automatique liée à la perception (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ICLR, ICRA).
• Forte intuition pour la qualité des données, l’atténuation des biais et la modélisation de l’incertitude.

La connaissance de l’anglais est exigée puisque la personne retenue devra collaborer de façon journalière avec des collègues anglophones aux États-Unis et travailler avec la documentation technique rédigée uniquement en anglais.

Meet the Team 

The Operating System Team develops and maintains a light-weight in-house modified Linux distribution based on the usage of open source technologies. This also comprises the integration of third party libraries to efficiently run Machine Learning based Applications on NVIDIA target SoCs as wall as the development, operation and maintenance of the required build-system technologies.   

What you'll do:  

• Work on Linux kernel modules 

• Incorporate Linux Distribution in to build and deployment toolchain 

• Perform system-level debugging and performance tuning 

• Develop shell scripts and automation tools 

• Troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Hardware, Networking) 

• Ensure system security, stability, and scalability 

• Manage package builds and deployments 

• Contribute to documentation and technical design discussions 

• Optimize performance, memory usage, and real-time behavior of embedded applications. 

• Integrate and maintain third-party software and open-source software 

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field with 1-5+ years of experience.
   
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, including user space vs kernel space, device trees, systemd and system boot-up. 

• Familiar with Linux Kernel architecture (Scheduler (CFS vs RT), Memory management (paging, slab, CMA), Interrupt handling, softirq/tasklets) 

• Deep understanding of Process and IPC (fork/exec, signals, shared memory, pipes, sokcets). 

• Familiar with Linux boot up sequence and bootloaders. 

• Experience with device drivers and user space drivers. (PCIe, DMA, Ethernet, CAN) 

• Linux security knowledge (secure boot chain, signed kernel modules), filesystem hardening, namespace isolation (LSM). 

• Strong experience with Linux development in Embedded Systems, latency analysis (CyclicTest,ftrace) 

• Strong knowledge in building real time Embedded Systems for automotive or similar industries 

• Knowledge of build systems (Make, CMake, Yocto, Buildstream, Bazel) 

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming 

• Namespace Isolations (Containers, CGroups) 

• Experience with Shell scripting (Bash) 

• Familiarity with system calls, memory management, and process management 

• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, HTTP) 

• Experience with debugging tools like GDB, strace, and Valgrind 

• Experience working in multi-threaded, multi-core, and multi-processor systems. 

• Solid understanding of Semaphore, Mutex, Message Queue, shared memory and other operating 
  system concepts. 

• Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Automotive Ethernet, CAN, and 
  GPIO. 

• Knowledge of software version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD practices, and issue tracking systems. 

• Experience with Python, Bash scripting, or other relevant tools for automation and testing. 

• Exposure to Nvidia DriveOs. 

• Experience with Vector Cast or GTest for unit testing. 

• Experience working with scrum / Agile teams. 

• Knowledge of ISO 61508 or/and ISO 26262 desirable.
