FALL 2026 GRADUATE ENGINEER

As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for working on creative solutions to real aerospace challenges. You will be given as much responsibility as our full-time engineers and will be an integral part of the team. Graduate Engineer roles are available with a variety of engineering teams across the company including design, manufacturing and operations at Bastrop, TX; Cape Canaveral, FL; Hawthorne (Los Angeles), CA; Irvine, CA; McGregor (Waco), TX; Redmond, WA; Starbase, TX and Vandenberg, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
• Enrolled in a graduate program by the start of employment and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or math discipline
• Applicant for this graduate engineer position must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

TEST STAND MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintenance technicians at the Rocket Development and Test Facility work in a fast-paced testing environment, where the extraordinary becomes the everyday. This role helps with the build, activation, modification, and improvement of fluid and mechanical systems that test the most powerful high-volume rocket engines in the world. With a focus on repairs and reliability, maintenance technicians are expected to use every tool they have to keep the rocket development and production test stands working well. This work includes performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on test systems, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical hardware, and giving operations and design feedback to drive improvements across our entire test site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Modify and maintain test stands and ground support equipment that support testing of fully integrated flight vehicles, individual rocket engines, and various rocket components
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware associated with rocket test stand systems, typically part of fluid, structural, and mechanical subsystems
• Maintain structural/mechanical systems and related components such as rollers, bearings, rams, and similar items
• Maintain fluid systems and related components such as process piping, pumps, valves, filters, and similar items
• Collaborate with design and operations engineers to maintain systems in peak operating condition, provide feedback on designs and operations, and promote continual improvement of ground support equipment
• Develop novel methods to streamline and increase the reliability of internal processes across the entire test site
• Follow all regulations and appropriate SpaceX procedures, including quality policies, safety policies, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), National Electrical Code (NEC), and other standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, cryogenic, high-pressure gas, or data systems

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience working as a maintenance technician, service technician, field service engineer, or mechanic
• Strong experience with schematics and diagrams for fluid routing, instrumentation, and electrical components
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment in fields such as power generation, oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, or electronics
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, process piping inspections and operations, tubing and pipe fittings, rotating machinery (pumps, air compressors), and a wide variety of mechanical fasteners
• Knowledge of high-pressure gas, hydraulic, cryogenic, flammable, hypergolic, and pyrophoric systems
• Experience with heavy equipment or industrial operations and maintenance
• Experience in equipment maintenance and calibration, instrumentation troubleshooting, process controls, and data and control systems
• Operational knowledge of process instrumentation (pressure transducers, thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), load cells, flow meters, and similar items)
• Operational knowledge of basic electrical theory and electrical troubleshooting (multimeter fault finding, soldering and connecting, operation of various crimping tools, and similar items)
• Experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Maximo, SAP, Oracle, and others

SR. PROPULSION ENGINEER, DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS (RAPTOR) 

As a senior propulsion engineer on the Raptor Development Operations team, you will be responsible for guiding development of future versions of Raptor as well as end-to-end ownership of one or more systems on the engine. In this role, you will be accountable for defining requirements, developing operations, verifying capability, and ensuring compatibility with the vehicle for the system(s) you own. Your detailed knowledge of the Raptor engine will enable you to lead the engine development cycle, encompassing detailed test planning, data review, on-console test support, and anomaly resolution. Raptor is a highly integrated, full-flow staged combustion engine on the Starship vehicle. In this role, you’ll have system-level ownership, which requires excellent planning/vision, broad technical depth, communication, and the ability to work with hardware, fluids, operations, structures, GNC, software, and teams across both Raptor and Starship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own system-level processes and operations critical to overall engine function from design and build through testing and flight
• Establish hardware and operational requirements and work with other responsible engineers to ensure interfacing systems meet requirements to ensure we are building the highest performance, reliable vehicle system possible
• Communicate system capability and requirements such that the entire engine/vehicle system comes together as a cohesive, integrated unit through clear development roadmaps, execution of new designs, and efficient development test programs from concept design to flying Starship at high rate
• Ownership of system through flight, including data review, reuse, and on-console support as needed
• Drive the development roadmap for new versions of the Raptor engine through:
• Converting programmatic goals into concrete requirements for Raptor and Starship teams to follow while developing a new engine version
• Developing test requirements and participating in test operations to develop hardware and processes to accept engines for flight
• Being directly in involved in leading development testing on-site at the McGregor and/or Starbase test facility
• Developing test plans for development objectives, reviewing data, and providing troubleshooting recommendations and solutions. Communicate results of the tests to impacted systems and drive any observed anomalies to closure.
• Drive findings in engine development back to the factory to quickly address problems and buy down risk ahead of flight

PROPULSION ENGINEER (RAPTOR TEST)

The propulsion engineer is responsible for ensuring Raptor engines and components have been tested and qualified to function in flight conditions. Our engineers specialize in the design and execution of unique development tests for Raptor engine testing on an accelerated schedule. This role offers a constant variety of diverse engineering challenges in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Raptor Test Engineers have the opportunity to work on one of the world’s most complex engines to date, a full flow staged combustion engine! Join the team and our journey to Mars and we solve new challenges presented by unknown frontiers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute tests at the engine and component level to evaluate hardware performance and survivability during the mission.
• Repeated ownership of test campaigns; including test plan creation, new system activation, test operations, data review, and test stand equipment design/fabrication.
• Provide daily direction and instruction to technicians to fabricate and integrate test articles and stand equipment.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences, scripts, configuration files, and software.
• Operate and troubleshoot data acquisition and control systems, wiring, and instrumentation. DAQ systems are primarily National Instruments based.
• Operate and troubleshoot fluid and mechanical systems that include low to high-pressure gaseous working fluids and rocket propellants (including high pressure nitrogen and methane systems & cryogenics) as well as structural components and supporting infrastructure.
• Operate mechanical systems; these include test stand support structures, heat exchangers, vacuum pumps, tooling, and fluid components such as valves, reliefs, burst disks, tubing, etc.

TEST ENGINEER (STARSHIP DEVELOPMENT)

The Development Test team is responsible for testing that supports every major program at SpaceX: Starship, Dragon, Falcon, and Starlink. The majority of the team's current and foreseeable focus is on Starship development. We aim to excel at operating in situations where there is uncertainty and embrace the unexpected outcomes that result from testing. Our engineers specialize in the design and execution of unique tests for engines, components, and spacecraft on an accelerated schedule. This role offers a constant variety of diverse engineering challenges in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute tests at the engine and component level to evaluate hardware performance and survivability during the mission.
• Repeated ownership of test campaigns, including test plan creation, new system activation, test operations, data review, and test stand equipment design/fabrication.
• Provide daily direction and instruction to technicians to fabricate and integrate test articles and stand equipment.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences, scripts, configuration files, and software.
• Operate and troubleshoot data acquisition and control systems, wiring, and instrumentation.  DAQ systems are primarily National Instruments-based.
• Operate and troubleshoot fluid and mechanical systems that include low to high-pressure gaseous working fluids and rocket propellants (including hypergols & cryogenics) as well as structural components and supporting infrastructure.
• Operate mechanical systems; these include test stand support structures, heat exchangers, vacuum pumps, tooling, and fluid components such as valves, reliefs, burst disks, tubing, etc.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop, implement and improve environmental programs at SpaceX’s McGregor, TX location
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations established by EPA, TCEQ, CERCLA, RCRA, DOT and other applicable Texas and federal regulatory agencies
• Track, review, and interpret new and proposed environmental laws and regulations, and provide guidance to management
• Perform environmental audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies
• Operate and maintain the hazardous materials management plan, compliance calendar and other recordkeeping and environmental tracking software

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

As a member of the Construction Projects team, you will work with a group of elite engineers and specialists across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure for a variety of projects at the McGregor Rocket Development Facility as well as other SpaceX Facilities. This role is responsible for the design, build, and activation of infrastructure, facilities improvements, and large capital projects. You will have the opportunity to drive positive change in a fast-paced and low-drag environment.  This includes owning tasks/projects from start to finish, to make the SpaceX campus a world-class facility that can support the mission of enabling life beyond Earth. This position is based in McGregor, Texas (Central Texas area).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of multidiscipline construction projects to achieve on-time and under-budget delivery with customer satisfaction. The following project management responsibilities are applicable:
  • Provide guidance and input on preliminary scope/customer requests, including rough order of magnitude (ROM) costs
  • Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors

As a member of the Construction Projects Team, you will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure for a variety of projects at the Rocket Development Facility in Texas, as well as other facilities across SpaceX. This position is based in McGregor, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout the entirety of the civil and structural engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects
• Perform both civil and structural design and analysis calculations for structural steel and concrete
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
• Manage the civil and structural aspects of construction projects
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients
• Provide direct onsite engineering inspections and field observations
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
• Provide technical engineering support/information to ensure construction/maintenance complies with all standards, codes, and specifications

Development test technicians get to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and perform regular maintenance, work on flight and development engines, and support test and build equipment and tooling. The automation & control systems technician will support the build-up and maintenance of our data and control systems. These systems comprise various data acquisition and control hardware, wiring, interface harnesses, and a wide range of instrumentation. The goal of the data & control systems team is to meet various test requirements to achieve safe, economical, and reliable access to space.

INVENTORY CONTROL CLERK - 2ND SHIFT

The inventory control clerk plays an important role in our operations and directly affects the supply chain at our Rocket Development Facility in Texas. Located on a 4,500-acre site in central Texas, the Rocket Development Facility is responsible for testing hardware from development stages through acceptance for flight, and from component level to complete stage testing. This position will help ensure that incoming materials are received correctly, the onsite inventory is accurate, and our technicians and engineers have what they need to achieve our overall mission of sending humans to Mars.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, stock, and issue a wide variety of parts, materials, and hardware to support site operations manually or by using the vertical lift module (VLM)

TEST ENGINEER (DRAGON)

The Development Test team is responsible for testing that supports every major program at SpaceX: Starship, Dragon, Falcon, and Starlink. In this role, your primary responsibility will be ensuring engines and components used on Dragon spacecraft have been tested and qualified to function in flight conditions. Our engineers specialize in the design and execution of unique tests for engines, components, and spacecraft on an accelerated schedule. This role offers a constant variety of diverse engineering challenges in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute tests at the engine and component level to evaluate hardware performance and survivability during the mission.

SR. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER

As part of a small, hardworking team of technicians and engineers, you will provide technical expertise and assist in the implementation of all environmental, health and safety programs at the Rocket Development & Test Site. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The elite engineering team at our test facility in Central Texas (Waco, TX area) focuses on test operations for Raptor, Starship, Falcon, Dragon, and more. We are looking for engineers who focus on testing operations (test set-up, on-console running tests, data analysis, troubleshooting, etc.) as well as ground support equipment operations (design & build test stands, propellant disbursement, etc.). PROPULSION ENGINEER, DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS (RAPTOR) 

As a propulsion engineer on the Raptor Development Operations team, you will be responsible for guiding the development of future versions of Raptor as well as end-to-end ownership of one or more systems on the engine. In this role, you will be accountable for defining requirements, developing operations, verifying capability, and ensuring compatibility with the vehicle for the system(s) you own. Your detailed knowledge of the Raptor engine will enable you to lead the engine development cycle, encompassing detailed test planning, data review, on-console test support, and anomaly resolution. Raptor is a highly integrated, full-flow staged combustion engine on the Starship vehicle. In this role, you’ll have system-level ownership, which requires excellent planning/vision, broad technical depth, communication, and the ability to work with hardware, fluids, operations, structures, GNC, software, and teams across both Raptor and Starship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own system-level processes and operations critical to overall engine function from design and build through testing and flight
• Establish hardware and operational requirements and work with other responsible engineers to ensure interfacing systems meet requirements to ensure we are building the highest performance, reliable vehicle system possible

STARLINK BUSINESS OPERATIONS: Develops and is responsible for the acquisition and success of Starlink customers, serving as the main interface between Starlink customers and SpaceX. Interns in this group will drive initiatives to grow the customer base, create processes to better the customer experience, and improve efficiencies to ensure Starlink is meeting its customer demand. There are roles in product management, business analytics, and operations management.

SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS OPERATIONS: Improves and develops the business processes that enable SpaceX to design, build, launch and reuse the most advanced rockets in the world. Interns in this group will help innovate and improve efficiencies to ensure that the Supply Chain team is continuously evolving to meet its internal customer demands and to achieve SpaceX’s overall mission of sending humans to Mars.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER, MEP

As a member of the construction projects team, you will work with elite engineers and project managers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and commission critical infrastructure for a variety of projects at SpaceX’s Rocket Development Facility in McGregor, Texas, as well as other SpaceX facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for the planning and execution of new facility construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects with a specialized focus on commercial and industrial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. You will own projects from start to finish to support high-power rocket engine testing, test stand activation, and world-class industrial facilities that enable rapid development and iteration. FACILITIES MECHANICAL SPECIALIST

As a member of the construction projects team, you will work with a group of elite engineers and specialists across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure for a variety of projects at the SpaceX McGregor site. This role is responsible for the design, build, and activation of infrastructure, facilities improvements and large capital projects. You will have the opportunity to drive positive changes in a fast-paced and low-drag environment. This includes owning tasks/projects from start to finish, with the goal of making the SpaceX campus a world-class facility that can support the mission of enabling life beyond Earth. This position is based in McGregor, TX area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage, coordinate, and provide liaison support for construction projects and maintenance operations at the SpaceX McGregor test site to ensure vendors meet SpaceX and regulatory standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship

Propulsion Technicians get to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and perform regular maintenance and work on flight and development engines, as well as support test and build equipment and tooling. Propulsion Technicians support the company by building and maintaining flight worthy rocket engines and associated test equipment, supporting engineering in suggesting and implementing process improvements, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. These technicians support activities in the engine shop and/or engine assembly area, as well as enjoy working outside at the rocket development facility, on our robust test stands, supporting test operations first-hand. Propulsion Technicians enjoy witnessing the rumbling of rocket engines throughout the day. We work as a highly integrated team, and job responsibilities will include helping other programs to ensure the overall success of SpaceX.

At SpaceX, our commitment to reliability begins with design but is realized through exhaustive testing at the Rocket Development Facility in McGregor, TX. To eliminate anomalies and ensure maximum product quality, the test team pushes our hardware to its limits in as close to flight-like conditions as possible. Test Engineers are ultimately responsible for the entire test process. They develop test requirements, handle the test articles, operate test stand systems, conduct tests, analyze data to confirm performance, and inform the design/production process.

TEAM DESCRIPTIONS:

APPLICATION SOFTWARE: The Application software team is currently creating and evolving systems to enable rapid build and reuse of Starship as well as designing the next generation manufacturing software that will be used in high throughput factories for Starlink. Other applications range from platforms that support concurrent streams of data from many always-on assets to manage the world’s largest satellite constellation to public facing systems where customers can join our Starlink network globally. We work closely with engineers throughout the company to create and update our systems with respect to crewed launches, Starship flights, changes to the Starlink network and much more.

DRAGON SOFTWARE: As a software engineering intern on the Dragon Software team, you will develop, analyze and verify the mission critical software configurations that fly our Dragon Crewed and Cargo vehicles. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure software is configured to each mission's specifications and needs. You will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle behaves as expected, and troubleshooting flight software when necessary. FALCON SOFTWARE: As a software engineering intern on the Falcon Software team, you will develop, analyze and verify the mission critical software that flies our Falcon and Falcon Heavy launch vehicles. PRODUCT SECURITY: The Starlink Product Security team is seeking technical, passionate engineers to secure Starlink software and hardware. SILICON ENGINEERING: Designs, develops and qualifies our custom developed semiconductor solutions. The group partners with other engineering teams and industry partners to create innovative digital, analog and mixed-signal ASICs and FPGAs. This group develops a broad variety of chips in CMOS, BiCMOS, GaAs and GaN technologies, from large SoC's to mmWave RFICs. The Starlink software team is responsible for the firmware and controls software running on custom hardware that flies the world’s largest fleet of spacecraft, as well as the infrastructure and tools to enable rapid development and reliable deployment of our code to dynamic production environments.

STARSHIELD SOFTWARE: The Starshield software team is building highly reliable in-space mesh networks, designing secure systems to guarantee access to space, designing next-generation communication and sensing software, and more. Aerospace experience is not required to be successful here - we want our engineers to bring fresh, diverse ideas from all areas. The Starshield software team is involved in designing the vehicle systems at every phase of development and building software systems that are secure, reliable, and autonomous. Our software interns are responsible for the life cycle of the software they create, including development, testing, and operational support. 

STARSHIP SOFTWARE: The Starship software team is responsible for building and testing the control systems, network, and operational software for Starship, the Super Heavy Booster, and our launch pads in Starbase. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS)

This engineer is a systems-focused, automation-driven, multi-faceted individual. The engineer uses electrical and mechanical systems knowledge to inform the design of test stands, support facilities, avionics, and control systems. SpaceX control engineers develop and integrate physical hardware, including wire harnesses, PCBs, custom enclosures, PLCs, data acquisition systems, avionics systems, engine controllers, and various sensors. The engineer is responsible for transferring real-time data from these physical sensors and actuators to the stand operator, the responsible engineer, or the customer. Test articles include in-space systems, vehicles, avionics systems, and ground systems. Excellent operational support and accurate interpretation of data collected from these test systems are paramount. These critical automation & control systems support operations that enable safe, economical, and reliable access to space.

The team works closely with test engineers, electrical engineers, other flight and ground software teams, and information technologies to rapidly deploy high-performance software catering to unique test engineering requirements. PROPULSION TECHNICIAN, RAPTOR TEST OPERATIONS - 2ND SHIFT

Propulsion Technicians get to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and perform regular maintenance and work on flight and development engines, as well as support test and build equipment and tooling. Propulsion Technicians support the company by building and maintaining flight worthy rocket engines and associated test equipment, supporting engineering in suggesting and implementing process improvements, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. These technicians support activities in the engine shop and/or engine assembly area, as well as enjoy working outside at the rocket development facility, on our robust test stands, supporting test operations first-hand. Propulsion Technicians enjoy witnessing the rumbling of rocket engines throughout the day. We work as a highly integrated team, and job responsibilities will include helping other programs to ensure the overall success of SpaceX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform staging, set up, assembly, tests, and installation of hardware for flight, qualification, and development engines

PROPULSION ENGINEER (RAPTOR FLEET OPERATIONS)

The Raptor Fleet Operations team is responsible for the fleet of Raptor engines from the time they leave the factory in Hawthorne until the time they fly. Today, the team is focused on enabling rapid design iteration by taking lessons from flight and engine testing and applying those lessons across the fleet. In the future, the team will begin to focus on developing the processes necessary to maintain a large fleet of engines capable of continuous reuse. As a Propulsion Engineer on this team, you will serve an important role in developing the processes and tooling that will be used to maintain the fleet of engines and will be the technical interface between the hardware and RE teams. Engineers in this role demonstrate a very high level of engineering intuition, critical thinking, system level expertise, and are comfortable working under tight deadlines with loosely defined requirements and minimal oversight. Combining these skills, these engineers face challenges across a wide variety of work centers at the company and are at the forefront of developing integration and test processes for current and next generation engines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts of engine issues in the field
• Support integration and testing of R&D hardware to inform future designs and improve engine performance and reliability

PAINT & COATINGS TECHNICIAN

As a member of the construction projects and facilities team, the paint & coatings technician mixes, strips, paints, and details advanced paint systems, prepares metallic substrates via abrasion and etchants, applies sealants/adhesives, maintains spraying equipment, and uses precision tools like calipers while supporting safety, quality, and delivery improvements. You will have the opportunity to drive positive changes in a fast-paced, low-drag environment. This technician owns tasks and projects from start to finish, with the goal of making the SpaceX campus a world-class test facility that can support the mission of enabling life beyond Earth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and coordinate ticket system requests for paint projects across the site to ensure timely and quality execution of work
• Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch, and paint steel surfaces, buildings, and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat-resistant finishes
• Tape, float, paint, and repair wall finishes and apply texture
• Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, electrostatic sprayers, and pumps
• Safely store and label all materials on a daily basis
• Erect scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes

TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN

Our McGregor team is an integral part of SpaceX operations and plays the critical role of testing our flight vehicles and spacecraft. Located on a 4,280 acre site in central Texas, the Rocket Development Facility is responsible for testing hardware from development stages through acceptance for flight, and from component level to complete stage testing.  Experiencing the rumbling of a rocket engine multiple times per day is just one of the highlights of working at our Rocket Development Facility.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and manage communication infrastructure to data servers, networking hardware, IP devices, and IT systems
• Lead the architecture and build out the SpaceX infrastructure to support our HD-quality video

TECHNICAL RECRUITER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a SpaceX recruiter, you will run a full desk with a variety of duties and responsibilities focused on the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of top talent candidates to fill mission critical positions (pun intended). In many cases, you are candidates’ first encounter with SpaceX and it is your job to represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. We work in teams and focus on collaboration yet require a high degree of autonomy. So, while you are not expected to simply go it alone, you are expected to show initiative, take responsibility, and run with tasks to completion. 

Your day-to-day routine will change often as hiring priorities shift, but there is a basic set of activities you can expect to run with daily, including, but not limited to:

• Meet with your client groups to discuss headcount, new requisitions, hiring strategy, and/or interview feedback – you truly act as a partner to your clients and not merely as an order taker
• Screen candidates who apply to requisitions – as the SpaceX name brand grows, our job postings continue to fill up with stellar candidates
• Source candidates – often the best candidates are the ones not actively looking
• Discuss candidates you have screened with your client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews
• Give tours to candidates before their onsite
• Attend interviews alongside your client groups to act as another set of eyes and ears in evaluating candidates
• Once candidates are approved for hire, you will begin the offer process including initiating background checks, negotiating offer packages and extending offer letters

Some days you will have multiple candidates coming onsite for interviews and you will spend that time giving tours and coordinating the candidate experience. Other days, you will need to fill your candidate pipeline and will spend the majority of the day screening/sourcing candidates. No day is the same here and the pace moves fast, but ultimately your job is to effectively attract, organize, and manage the flow of the country’s most talented individuals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of technical recruiting experience
• 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience
• Experience with in-house recruiting
• Experience with high volume recruiting
• Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers
• Experience recruiting skilled labor
• Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles
• Full life cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing to closing
• Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data
• Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their respective fields
• Demonstrated expertise in non-standard recruiting methods: cold calling candidates and companies, organizing and executing ad hoc networking events, identifying industry experts and finding unique methods to engage with them, creating unique targeted sourcing campaigns, etc.
• Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers including director and VP level technical leaders
• Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
• Ability to accurately present but not oversell candidates to client groups; influence decisions by acting as the subject matter expert on talent but avoid dictating client decisions
• Ability to multi-task and operate with little direction while still being an active team member

• This position requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered

ELECTRICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, devices, equipment, and components
• Install, repair, and maintain motor control centers, motor circuits, overloads, and disconnects
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain generators, automatic transfer switches, and surge protection devices
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices
• Install grounding and lightning protection systems
• Perform work from instructions using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Install electrical components according to the current NEC code
• Install and troubleshoots commercial lighting, receptacles, panels, circuits, and controls
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience working as a licensed electrician

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree
• Knowledge and/or understanding of codes, rules, regulations, and standards of electrical equipment
• Knowledge of 3Ø low and medium-voltage power distribution systems
• Understanding of critical power and safety system design concepts
• Ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to finish the assigned work
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
• Experience with common trade hand and power tools and multimeters
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical manuals, schematics, and reports
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Work performed in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise
• Must be available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required
