THE ROLE

As a Staff Software Engineer  within our Drive Qualification Center of Excellence, you will be the technical architect ensuring the world-class reliability of Everpure™ developed SSDs. You will own the validation strategy for hyperscale and system-level performance, transforming complex NAND and NVMe challenges into seamless, high-performance storage solutions. Collaborating across Firmware, Systems, and Program teams, you will move beyond simple testing to define the mission-critical readiness of the Everpure™ Platform.

• Architect Validation Strategy: Define and own the end-to-end test strategy for major domains including NAND reliability, PCIe Gen6, and OCP compliance, establishing the entry/exit criteria that guarantee product maturity.

• Storage & Protocol Expertise: Extensive experience in SSD or firmware validation with deep technical mastery of NVMe, PCIe protocols, and OCP specifications, specifically regarding power-loss robustness and data integrity.

• Systems Engineering & Python Mastery: Expert-level Python skills for building modular, maintainable automation frameworks and experience managing large shared codebases within a Linux-heavy CI/CD environment.

THE ROLE

Staff Eng for a group of engineers with responsibility for Linux and VMWare initiator stack behavior as well as Fibre Channel and NIC drivers on Pure storage array.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Kernel and Driver development team is responsible for several areas

• Working for a team that deals primarily in various storage area network protocols such as Fiber Channel and Ethernet. 
• On the initiator side, the team will be responsible for Linux initiator behavior attached to Flasharray. Focus is on NVME (ROCE, FC, TCP/IP) but also includes FC-SCSI (FCP) and iSCSI interfaces. This includes software development/fixes for Linux initiator stack, debugging initiator problems, and creating compatibility documents for Purity. For VMWare, focus is on debugging issues with VMWare as an initiator, and creating compatibility documentation.
• For FibreChannel and NIC Drivers, focus is responsibility for FC-SCSI driver stack for storage side and responsibility for NIC drivers on networking side. This includes responsibility for related code, utilities, enhancements supporting RAS, as well as debugging failures found internally and in the field.
• Maintain Linux kernels for internal testing

About Infrastructure Shared Services (ISS)

Infrastructure Shared Services (ISS) is responsible for Everpure's engineering infrastructure, development environments, and production-adjacent services across our global data centers and public cloud environments. We partner with internal engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable platforms so they can focus on building high‑quality products.

Within ISS, the Bare Metal Kubernetes Platform team designs, builds, and operates large‑scale Kubernetes environments on bare metal servers, backed by Everpure arrays and Portworx, and integrated with ISS’s observability, CI/CD, and multi‑tenancy frameworks.

The Kernel and Driver development team is responsible for several areas

• Working for a team that deals primarily in various storage area network protocols such as Fiber Channel and Ethernet. 
• On the initiator side, the team will be responsible for Linux initiator behavior attached to Flasharray. Focus is on NVME (ROCE, FC, TCP/IP) but also includes FC-SCSI (FCP) and iSCSI interfaces. This role is highly collaborative, interacting with cross-functional teams—including hardware, software, support, and sales—and directly engaging with customers to resolve complex issues that impact their environments. You will be responsible for shaping the future of Everpures product reliability.

The Fleet Reliability team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive a variety of complex engineering projects from conception to completion. This includes managing project schedules, maintenance releases, major customer escalations, and the processes that support them. You will identify risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders and executive management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO.

• Manage the critical customer escalations from Everpure Support, collaborating with hardware, software, support, and customer-facing teams to triage customer issues, assign ownership, and set expectations for resolution.
• Communicate updates to leadership (managers to execs) ensuring they are informed of critical customer escalations and do not feel the need to get involved.
• Drive initiatives to improve Fleet Reliability across Engineering, challenging teams to fix critical bugs, enhance test automation, and develop new features and processes.
• Manage the maintenance releases and processes that deliver critical fixes to the field, improving our high-quality standards.
• Manage the team’s software projects that enhance our response times, issue tracking, and metrics in service of improving customer Fleet Reliability.
• Develop schedules, identify dependencies, critical paths, bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of programs, communicating same to stakeholders.
• Oversee Fleet Reliability metrics measuring our success and contribute to planning for continuous improvement.
• Provide operational support in coordinating Monthly updates, Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Planning, etc.
• Help coordinate our global Engineering on-call program.
• Be the voice of the customer during internal meetings, advocating for solutions and improvements.
• In time, you may become a voice for Everpure Engineering on customer calls.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience as a Technical Program Manager; BS/MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred.
• Proven expertise managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, including investigation, design, execution and delivering products to market on schedule while addressing customer feedback in development.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with regular demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt under pressure.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand high-level technical architecture, the trade-offs, and able to communicate on those topics effectively with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups.
• Able to identify and deliver on process changes that speed execution.
• Strong focus on customer service and experience engaging with customers in troubleshooting or escalation scenarios (start-up experience).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as hardware, sales, and customer support.

THE ROLE

As the Lead Architect, you will report to the Product Manager for Partner Intelligence and own the technical vision and scalability of the platform. Partner Intelligence is a cornerstone of Pure’s Partner Experience strategy, delivering actionable insights and analytics that help partners grow their business with Pure. You’ll drive architectural design, guide development, and work hand-in-hand with the Product Manager to translate the roadmap into a secure, high-performing, and extensible solution that supports Pure’s long-term partner autonomy goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Architect for growth: Design and evolve a scalable, secure, and flexible architecture for Partner Intelligence.
• Define standards: Establish best practices for data, integration, and code quality across contractors and internal development teams.
• Guide development: Review and validate technical designs, ensuring consistency and maintainability across releases.
• Integrate seamlessly: Partner with Data Engineering, and IAM teams to align with systems like Partner Central, Incentive Management, and CPQ.
• Shape the roadmap: Collaborate with the Product Manager on delivery plans, and technical milestones.
• Modernize experience: Oversee UX and front-end evolution as the platform expands to new use cases.
• Optimize performance: Drive architectural improvements for speed, scalability, and partner adoption.
• Mentor and enable: Provide technical direction to contractors and coach teams on scalable architecture patterns.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 12+ years in software engineering or architecture, including large-scale SaaS or analytics platforms.
• Expertise in modern web and data architectures (e.g., Salesforce Platform, Snowflake, React/Node.js, Tableau/CRMA, AWS, or similar).
• Strong understanding of API-driven integration, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Experience leading distributed or vendor-based development teams.
• Proven ability to balance technical depth with business impact and roadmap execution.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
