THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to join our Bangalore-based Manufacturing Test Team. Your primary focus will be to develop an end-to-end test solution for SSD products in a high volume manufacturing environment. This position will require deep technical expertise in test software development with Python, hands-on work with hardware, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Test Software Development:
• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for testing SSD storage hardware in a manufacturing setting.
• Improve existing test software for greater efficiency, scalability, and integration, ensuring alignment with hardware requirements.

• Hardware Debugging: 
• Basic understanding of the SSD storage hardware
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems within the manufacturing test environment, including failure analysis and troubleshooting across different platforms.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Drive test requirements to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with overall product and manufacturing goals.
• Maintain close coordination with global teams to ensure feedback and improvements are incorporated into the test tools.
• Contract Manufacturer (CM) Communication and Proto Build Management:
• Serve as the main technical interface between the company and CMs, ensuring accurate communication of test requirements and process updates.
• Oversee the management of prototype builds, ensuring that test plans are effectively executed and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Lead initiatives to enhance test procedures and tools, focusing on improved debugging, failure handling, and overall testing efficiency.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development for hardware manufacturing test tools.
• Software Development Expertise: Strong experience in developing and enhancing test software, with proficiency in Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
• Program management: Plan and execute hardware test programs, manage risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, optimize resources, track issues, ensure compliance, and communicate results effectively.
• Test Plan Development: Ability to create detailed, robust test plans from hardware schematics and design documentation, ensuring comprehensive hardware validation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, dedicated to improving test processes and software tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Prior experience working with a hyperscaler company would be an advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

THE ROLE

Join our Global Operations team as a Global Supply Chain Manager to be the operational backbone for our worldwide manufacturing execution. You will drive supply continuity and operational excellence across our Contract Manufacturer (CM) network, acting as the primary execution liaison to achieve revenue and operational targets. This high-impact role requires intense collaboration with NPI, Engineering, and Quality to ensure the seamless delivery of the Everpure™ Platform. You will be the critical link ensuring our manufacturing readiness scales at the pace of our global innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive end-to-end supply chain execution for all production activities, owning the Clear to Build (CTB) process to ensure manufacturing readiness and continuity of supply that meets aggressive revenue and forecast goals.
• Lead operational excellence and risk mitigation across the CM network, focusing on strategic KPIs like on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, yield improvement, and strategic cost reduction.
• Serve as the primary escalation manager for CM and supply chain execution issues, developing and deploying effective production strategies from New Product Introduction (NPI) through End-of-Life (EOL).
• Develop and implement effective supply and demand variability strategies, proactively identifying potential material risks and driving process improvements internally and with CM partners to maximize efficiency and reduce supply chain risk.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (NPI, Planning, Quality, Engineering) to align operational execution with product and business strategies, ensuring consistent standards and best practices are applied globally.
  
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven expertise in Global Contract Manufacturing (CM) management and supply chain execution, with a strong emphasis on operational leadership and continuous improvement.
• Deep functional understanding of production planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, including Bills of Materials (BOM), inventory control, shortage resolution, and the purchase-to-pay cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate high-stakes ambiguity, applying excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking to manage escalations and drive clear, actionable strategies in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills required to effectively manage internal global teams and external supplier relationships, driving unified outcomes.
• Strong analytical capability for monitoring complex supply/demand data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and translating data-driven insights into process optimization and risk mitigation strategies.
• SAP experience strongly preferred; other ERP experience a plus.

• Help Everpure continue to ramp and scale it’s subscriptions services, including our innovative Evergreen//One and Evergreen//Forever offerings
• You will report to the Director of Subscription Sales Operations and will provide support on key subscription and consumption related strategic initiatives
• Manage and evolve Subscription renewal processes and leverage automation to improve Sales velocity
• Manage and optimize subscription-related processes to simplify our sales models
• Partner with Engineering and IT to identify and execute automation opportunities
• Document and translate complex business requirements into streamlined process designs and system specifications
• Develop and manage process and tool enhancement roadmaps
• Enable and implement process and automation enhancements with the Sales organization and key stakeholders
• Utilize reporting and analytics to deliver data driven insights on performance by identifying patterns and opportunity areas

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE…
