The Role

Pure Storage is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director, Partner Sales ANZ to lead and scale our ANZ partner ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth through a team of Partner Account Managers, strengthening executive-level partner relationships, and maximizing revenue through a high-performing channel strategy.

As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping go-to-market success by aligning closely with Regional Sales leadership, Field Marketing, and cross-functional teams. You will champion a partner-first approach—unlocking new opportunities, accelerating pipeline creation, and expanding Pure Storage’s footprint through best-in-class channel execution.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Scale a High-Performing Team

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partner Account Managers in ANZ, enabling them to consistently exceed performance targets.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development across the team.
• Drive clarity of vision, execution discipline, and measurable outcomes across partner engagement efforts.

Drive Partner Strategy & Revenue Growth

• Define and execute a comprehensive ANZ partner strategy to maximize revenue, pipeline, and market penetration.
• Identify, recruit, and grow strategic reseller and distribution partnerships.
• Develop and execute joint business plans with key partners to accelerate sell-through and long-term growth.

Strengthen Executive Relationships

• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic counterpart.
• Lead complex contract negotiations and partnership agreements aligned with mutual business objectives.
• Elevate Pure Storage’s value proposition within the partner ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

• Partner closely with ANZ Sales leadership, District Managers, and Account Executives to align on territory plans and drive joint success.
• Collaborate with Partner and Field Marketing to design and execute high-impact programs, campaigns, and events that generate demand and expand reach.
• Actively represent Pure Storage at industry events, partner engagements, and executive forums.

Operational Excellence & Market Expansion

• Establish scalable processes, best practices, and performance metrics to optimize partner productivity and ROI.
• Drive consistent pipeline creation, forecast accuracy, and business visibility across the partner landscape.
• Continuously assess market dynamics to identify new growth opportunities and competitive advantages.

What You Bring

Leadership & Channel Expertise

• Proven experience leading and scaling ANZ partner sales teams, including managing leaders of leaders.
• Strong track record of building, developing, and growing reseller and distributor ecosystems.
• Demonstrated success in driving channel-led revenue growth and pipeline expansion.

• Ability to assess, plan, and execute territory and partner strategies that maximize revenue and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Director to support the ANZ, ASEAN, and Indian Sales team reporting to the AVP of International Sales Finance. This role will focus heavily on business partnering with Country and Regional leaders, in a very varied role, covering all aspects from Commercial deal support in conjunction with our deal desk, working with our Shared Services team on building out intelligence, analytics and reporting to reviewing leading indicators of performance such as pipeline or Expense to Bookings with Sales leadership. This is an instrumental role for Finance to provide value added analysis to the business, it requires a high level of cross-group collaboration, analytical skills, experience in influencing others and executive maturity skills. You will have the unique opportunity to lead and influence a core part of Everpure's strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Grow the Business

• Drive and influence deal structuring activities in partnership with sales teams, expanding sales finance participation in large or complex deal reviews and providing leadership to sponsor and assist deals
• Understand the story behind the numbers and translate this into forward-looking narratives and forecasts which align with underlying business and market insights
• Identify and utilize the right data to help sales leaders see around corners and continue to grow the business with minimal disruption
• Provide economic and financial analysis to support pricing strategies and investment decisions
• Be responsible for understanding, forecasting and optimizing the core drivers of revenue in the various segments and territories

Drive Finance & Business Excellence

• Establish and improve metrics and reporting with focus on data consistency and most impactful and actionable insights
• Drive financial empowerment and accountability at multiple levels of management in the APAC region, and across all actionable investment areas
• Challenge existing norms or courses of action, facilitating fully informed decision-making. Help institute balanced decision-making, driving the business to identify both risks and opportunities
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities, including Expense-to-Bookings (E:B) reporting processes
• Provide analytical support to Sales leadership and drive ad-hoc cross-functional projects.

Cross-team Collaboration

• Deliver Results through Teamwork: Work effectively across teams including field management, Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, Order Management, Tax, Legal, and HR. Align people and resources, establishing high standards of performance and creating a climate of mutual accountability that delivers expected business results
• Provide support to the International team on special projects and initiatives
• Drive continual process improvement leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale the business.

WHAT YOU BRING

• The position requires an individual who understands how to get things done through influence and collaboration. The ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues and results is very important.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast pace and ambiguous environment, simultaneously manage multiple priorities and drive continuous process improvements.
• Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; skilled in translating ideas into clear, high impact communications. Must be collaborative and willing to work in an open office, team environment.
• Finance, Accounting, Economics BS degree or equivalent. MBA preferred and a plus.
• 10+ Years experience in high tech environments/ industry.
• Prior experience of working with ERP systems including NetSuite, Anaplan or similar financial planning tools. Ability to create reports and dashboards is a plus.
