About the Team

Financial services has emerged as one of Postman’s fastest-growing and most strategic customer segments. Banks and financial infrastructure providers are increasingly building platform businesses powered by APIs, enabling everything from payments and open banking to embedded finance and AI-driven services.
To accelerate our momentum in this market, we are launching our first vertical-focused sales team dedicated to financial services. We are looking for a Head of Financial Services, Americas to build and lead this effort. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, based on the East Coast (preferably New York City or Boston).
The Opportunity
You will lead Postman’s enterprise sales team for the banking and financial services industry. This team will focus on both expanding relationships with our largest existing financial services customers and landing new enterprise accounts across the sector.
Financial institutions depend on APIs for secure money movement, partner integrations, and customer-facing digital experiences. These use cases demand exceptional API quality, governance, and security, making Postman a critical platform for engineering teams across the industry.
You will build and lead a team of Strategic Account Executives and Key Account Directors focused on the largest banks, insurance and financial infrastructure companies in the world. As well as midsize and regional banks across the US, Canada and LATAM.
Beyond leading the team, you will act as the executive face of Postman within the financial services ecosystem, working directly with customers, representing Postman at industry events, and helping shape how our platform evolves to meet the needs of this market.
What You’ll Do
- Build and lead Postman’s Financial Services Enterprise Sales team
- Drive revenue growth across global banks, major insurance companies, payments networks, and regional financial institutions
- Own both customer expansion and new logo acquisition across the segment
- Lead from the front, spending significant time in the field with customers and prospects
- Develop trusted relationships with engineering, platform, and technology leadership within financial institutions
- Partner closely with internal Product and Engineering teams to ensure Postman’s platform evolves to meet the needs of financial services customers
- Represent Postman at industry conferences, events, and publications
- Operate as the GM of this segment, setting strategy and driving outcomes

About the Role
We're building out the Customer Success Engineering team at Postman, and we need business-minded engineers who can solve real problems at scale. You will partner closely with Customer Success Managers and own the “How” of technical solutioning. This is a consultative role that requires both depth and versatility. This is no support role; you'll be the technical architect of Customer Success, turning complex and nuanced challenges into repeatable solutions that benefit our entire enterprise customer base.
As a CSE, you consult on the technical implementation path. When a customer needs to get from point A to point B, you figure out how to make it happen - whether that means architecting workflows within Postman, guiding integrations, or creating pragmatic workarounds when the product doesn't quite fit. A key part of this role is turning individual solutions into reusable assets that shorten time to value for future customers. We don’t believe in reinventing the wheel each time.
Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, systems thinking, and the ability to translate complex business objectives into actionable implementation steps.
What You’ll Do
- Value Acceleration at Scale: You'll unblock customers facing everything from basic setup issues to complex architectural challenges. However, your role isn’t just to fix individual problems – your goal is to identify patterns and build solutions that prevent those problems from happening again. When you solve for one customer, you're solving for hundreds.
- Technical Discovery and Solutioning: Partner with CSMs to understand the business objectives, then translate those into technical reality. This means deep technical discovery, understanding their entire stack, and designing implementation paths that actually work in production. No theoretical solutions – everything needs to be battle-tested and deployable.
- Collateral and Enablement: Build reusable assets such as technical guides, templates, scripts, or reference implementations that scale best practices across customers.
- Product Feedback Loop: Capture customer challenges, propose interim solutions, and document gaps to inform product roadmap discussions.
- Adaptive Problem Solving: When out of the box functionality is insufficient, design pragmatic solutions (workarounds, custom scripts, integrations, etc.) to help unblock and activate customers.
About You
You need 6-8+ years in a technical customer-facing role and a portfolio of “built things”.
Customer Success Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Account Manager… the title doesn't matter as much as the hands-on technical work that solves real problems for customers.
You should have:
- Strong foundation in Computer Science or Engineering (degree or equivalent real-world experience)
- Experience with JavaScript and related technologies such as Node.js or TypeScript, or equivalent experience with other modern scripting languages
- Deep understanding of APIs, developer workflows, and modern DevOps practices
- Proven ability to scope ambiguous problems and deliver working solutions quickly
- Experience building technical collateral that scales - scripts, templates, automation tools
- Comfort engaging both individual developers and enterprise architects
- You should be comfortable in Postman and familiar with the broader developer toolchain – GitHub, AWS, Azure, and other pipelines. Most importantly, you need to understand how enterprises actually build and ship software, not just how they say they do in planning meetings.
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $150,000.00 to $200,000.00, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Strategic Account Director to lead growth within a set of Postman’s most important enterprise accounts. This role is part of a new strategic go-to-market motion designed to deepen our engagement with large enterprises, expand our footprint, and deliver the full value of the Postman platform.
You will be paired with a pod that includes a Principal Solutions Engineer and a Field CTO, forming a high-caliber account team focused on building long-term, value-based relationships. Together, you’ll engage senior technology leaders, uncover complex challenges, and drive adoption of Postman’s enterprise and platform solutions at scale.
This is not a traditional “low-hanging fruit” sales role—this is about strategic account expansion, multi-threaded enterprise engagement, and solution selling.

- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts (e.g., Fortune 500, cloud-first companies, large-scale developer organizations).

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Software and Systems Engineer to help scale and maintain the Flows runtime system. About You

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Software and Systems Engineer to help scale and maintain the Flows runtime system. This system runs mission-critical automations in the cloud, with a focus on low latency, high throughput, and high availability. You’ll play a vital role in developing, deploying, and operating our backend services and infrastructure in a Kubernetes-based cloud environment.

What You’ll Do
Backend Development & Operations
- Develop high-quality, responsive APIs using modern backend technologies.
- Ensure APIs are secure and optimized for speed, scalability, and availability.

Collaboration & Teamwork

Cloud Infrastructure & Management
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure software and infrastructure in a Kubernetes environment across AWS, Azure, or GCP

About You
You must have a strong background in system and software development, be familiar with modern distributed systems, and have a proven track record of delivery and impact. You’ll be expected to contribute quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience shipping production-level software.
- Strong foundation in Node.js and/or Golang.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful projects independently and as part of a team.

Role Overview
As a Sr. Solutions Architect – Professional Services, you will be responsible for delivering technical consulting and implementation engagements across Postman’s enterprise customer base. This role is deeply technical, hands-on, and customer-facing—ideal for professionals with a strong background in API design, governance, development, and solution architecture, looking to drive tangible customer outcomes.
You’ll lead the delivery of both fixed-price and time-and-material (T&M) projects, and will be measured on on-time, on-budget execution, as well as the value delivered to customers. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to shape solutions, execute delivery plans, and ensure the successful deployment of Postman at scale within large, complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead the technical delivery of professional services engagements for enterprise customers, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Postman’s capabilities.
- Execute implementation plans in collaboration with engagement managers or project leads, focusing on delivering technical outcomes aligned with customer objectives.
- Implement and configure Postman in complex enterprise environments, including integrations with CI/CD pipelines, authentication systems, and API management layers.

Customer Enablement & Advisory
- Guide customers through technical configuration, developer onboarding, and platform rollout strategies.

Proactive Engagement & Problem Solving
- Identify and escalate technical roadblocks early, proposing alternative solutions to keep projects on track.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Professional Services Engineer, API Consultant, or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience with API design (OpenAPI/Swagger), REST/GraphQL, API management platforms, and modern development practices.
- Proficiency with Postman’s platform (or comparable tools) across design, testing, monitoring, environments, workspaces, and collections.
- Solid development background (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Node.js, or Java) with experience in CI/CD, scripting, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of API governance, versioning strategies, and security models (OAuth, JWT, API keys) in enterprise environments.
- Excellent project management discipline—ability to scope work, manage timelines, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Opportunity

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Key Account Director to lead growth within a set of Postman’s most important enterprise accounts. This role is part of a new strategic go-to-market motion designed to deepen our engagement with large enterprises, expand our footprint, and deliver the full value of the Postman platform.
You will be paired with a pod that includes a Principal Solutions Engineer and a Field CTO, forming a high-caliber account team focused on building long-term, value-based relationships. Together, you’ll engage senior technology leaders, uncover complex challenges, and drive adoption of Postman’s enterprise and platform solutions at scale.
This is not a traditional “low-hanging fruit” sales role—this is about strategic account expansion, multi-threaded enterprise engagement, and solution selling.

What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts (e.g., Fortune 500, cloud-first companies, large-scale developer organizations).
- Deeply engage with senior buyers—CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Platform, Security, and Collaboration—to position Postman as a critical platform solution.
- Drive multi-threaded sales campaigns that expand existing usage and convert massive developer adoption (tens of thousands of users) into enterprise-wide value.

- History of working long cycles and successfully growing accounts over time.
