What you’ll do
As a quantitative analyst on our Treasury Analytics team, you will be at the forefront of the firm’s initiative to optimize and improve financing and capital utilization by delivering best-in-class datasets, models, and processes across asset types. The team is highly collaborative and sits within the broader Technology platform. Specifically, you will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative models for our Treasury team, including models for cash management, liquidity risk, and foreign exchange risk
- Partner with internal teams to impact the firm’s financing capabilities by delivering high-quality calculations, contributing to our Treasury analytics platform, and curating data for wider audiences
- Develop an expertise across our prime brokerage, financing models, and other firm models by engaging with partners and contributing quantitative solutions to a shared repository
- Create and implement solutions that have maximum impact
- Design, socialize, and broaden Treasury’s data platform
- Model and optimize margin across a variety of products
- Build tools to explore complex datasets and identify day-over-day changes, driven by markets movements or changes in firm positioning
- Exchange ideas and best practices with business and technology colleagues
- Own the calculation of key treasury metrics, providing insights, advice, and quantitative leadership where required
What’s required
- Strong academic achievement in a quantitative field with a background in finance or a demonstrated interest in understanding the complexity of financial markets
- Experience contributing to a shared repository, such as Git
- Proficiency in Python and quantitative libraries such as Pandas, PyTorch and NumPy

The Macro Middle Office Trade Processing and Position Team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and automation of the systems that process trade executions into position keeping systems. The systems support a wide range of financial products and asset classes including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and credit. The team is global with personnel and service providers located throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a mid or senior-level engineer to develop systems for trade flow processing and life cycle management for our Macro business. This is a hands-on development role focused on automating and simplifying business process, as well as architecting and developing new systems in collaboration with the broader Middle Office team and stakeholders. Specifically, you will work with teams in New York and Warsaw on low latency position keeping systems and data models to serve the Global Macro business.
• Help achieve business goals and priorities set forth by Technology and business leadership by developing, maintaining, and modernizing our trade processing and position keeping platform.
• Deliver solutions that modernize and scale the position keeping platform through technology upgrades, cloud technology adoption, and re-architecting business processes.
WHAT’S REQUIRED
• 3+ years of combined work experience in C# .Net, SQL with strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test driven development etc.
• Familiarity with messaging architectures, caching technologies, streaming and/or transaction processing systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with financial services industry. Basic understanding of one or more of Fixed Income, Credit, FX, Equities or various derivative products
• Expertise in the software development life cycle (Agile) and software development tools

An IT Operations Engineer at Point72 provides a range of services essential for the efficient operation of a client focused technology service model. What’s required
You will work within a team environment to provide best-in-class technology services to clients across the Firm. The team provides a full range of IT related services, including PCs, laptops, video conferencing solutions, software, and mobile devices. You should be inquisitive and have a desire to test your limits with new technologies. You should also possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in client service, desktop support or technical support role
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Previous experience supporting investment professionals in the financial industry
- Knowledge of market data and electronic trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Neovest, etc.
- Scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Splunk, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and remediate complex issues across the entire Firm, provide Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and make recommendations to mitigate future risk

Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented executive assistant to support our Head of Poland. - Build a best-in-class front desk experience as the primary ambassador for visitors, vendors, and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment

- Familiarity with profit and loss fundamentals and how pricing and risk changes cascade across related products
- Experience with trading and position management systems such as Orchestrade, Murex, or Geneva
- Proficiency with SQL, messaging technologies such as Kafka and Solace, RESTful APIs, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle, test lifecycle, and established testing methodologies

What you’ll do
- Manage the complete application development lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to delivery and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including funding managers, traders, risk managers, and operations, to identify and prioritize application requirements.

What’s required

What you’ll do
- Lead the execution of high-profile, full-stack development initiatives, spanning the full development lifecycle from code design and specification, through testing and deployment into a complex environment.
- Contribute to the team’s shared technology assets, while collaborating with other internal Technology teams to deliver efficient solutions for workflow automation and data sourcing and analysis.
- Operate as a team player within a talented and highly motivated group responsible for delivering complex technology products
What’s required
- High proficiency with at least one of the .NET languages (C#, F#), and the ability to learn and apply the .NET framework as required by the role.
- Ability to shape the vision of a UI product, extending beyond the implementation of technical components.
- Experience building single-page applications (SPAs) in JavaScript using established libraries.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful backend services using ASP.NET Core, with an emphasis on server-side pagination and scalable data-access patterns to support large, client driven datasets.

Operating within the Finance function, the CFO Innovation team seeks to reengineer finance-based processes with automation at the forefront, understanding that these steps are key to driving efficiency, and increasing the level of controls in our processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will partner closely with our Technology, AI Product, and Finance teams to design and implement automated solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability and control. Leveraging your understanding of finance processes and systems, you will work to understanding challenges facing Finance teams and find the right solutions using a combination of internal custom builds and external vendor tools.
Specifically, you will:
- Use your technical and functional expertise to collaborate cross-functionally to improve the efficiency and controls of Finance activities such as the month-end close, cash forecasting, account reconciliation, and reporting and analysis
- Work with our developers to \creatively implement new techniques, including broadening our use of AI in our workflows
- Work with Finance teams to present functional requirements in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to help guide action plans and qualitatively and quantitatively convey the business benefit of taking on further automation
- Play a key role in managing large-scale automation projects in partnership with Investment Services teams
- Build awareness and expertise within the Finance team by sharing best practices and helping teams embrace new tools and ways of working
WHAT’S REQUIRED
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial operations, or finance transformation, with hands‑on exposure to process improvement or automation
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in learning about different aspects of finance and its intersection with the latest technology
- Experience managing small- and large-scale automation projects and mapping out process steps to identify areas for improvement
- The ability to work well independently
- Positive attitude and ability to build working relationships with colleagues throughout the firm
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills

What you'll do
Data Engineers on the Proprietary Research team design and build solutions that enable investment professionals to effortlessly, extract insights from large, complex compliance approved structured and unstructured data sets. As a member of our Data Engineering team, you will work closely with investment professionals, researchers, and data scientists to design, build, and launch robust end-to-end data pipelines and tools that that help extract the most value out of Point72’s data assets. In this role, you will:
- Develop and support big data processing pipelines including but not limited to ingestion, transformation, and end-customer delivery
- Build out cloud-based infrastructure using distributed techniques for other data engineers / data scientists / researchers
- Be at the forefront of new technology developments with respect to the handling and processing of big data and conduct proof of concepts evaluations of new technologies
- Build and support visualization and exploration capabilities around our big data sets.
What's required

Web Scraping Engineer, Mi-Platform

Point72’s Market Intelligence team is responsible for developing proprietary research products, providing data and research management services for investment teams, to support their pursuit of superior, risk-adjusted returns. We leverage innovative alternative data sources, advanced data analytics and technologies, as well as deep fundamental research to create high-quality compliant and differentiated research. What you’ll do
As a Data Engineer focused on Web Scraping, you will be building solutions for processing big and unstructured data sets at Point72. You will be responsible for extracting and ingesting data from websites, using compliance-approved web crawling tools. In this role you will:
- Own the creation process of these tools, services, and workflows to improve crawl/scrape analysis, reports and data management
- Be responsible for testing the data and the scrape to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
- Own the process to identify and rectify any issues with breaks as well as scale scrapes as needed
What’s required
- Solid Python and SQL knowledge
- Experience in running automated programs at scale
- Working experience with cloud-based technologies
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript and Networking,
- Familiarity with common techniques and tools for crawling, extracting and processing data (e.g., Requests BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Pandas, Selenium, Spark, etc.)
- Working knowledge of version control systems and open source practices
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great communication skills (written and spoken in English)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent demonstrated experience
- Experience with extracting text from PDFs, images, applications, etc. is a plus
- Experience with system monitoring / administration tools is a plus
- Experience with working with applications designed to display archived web content is a plus
