POSITION SUMMARY:   

Supervise the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function. Maintain an open line of communication regarding problems, breakdowns and anything that may affect schedule reliability.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

Ensure timely and effective Production line start-ups (6 lines).  

• Effective labor crewing for all positions for each line-producing product. 
• Placement of temporary personnel labor positions for coverage of attendance issues.  
• Obtaining and staging of all raw materials necessary for the entire shift production. 
• Evaluating and receiving all bulk inventory ingredients for usage and storage. 
• Producing product efficiently in agreement with production schedule. 
• Ensure all personnel comply with GMP, Safety and food safety procedures.  
•  Oversee mixing of dough batches in accordance with formula specifications.  
•  Oversee the mixing of remix batching to specifications.  
• Ensure the product lines are produced at proper line speed and proper product weight. 
• Oversee and ensure proper color, bake and shape is achieved for all products scheduled. 
•  Oversee the shift handling of all ingredients to be in compliance with food safety.  
• Monitor the freezing temperatures of our entire freezer spirals and scheduled defrost times.  
• Complete all necessary reporting of payroll time for their respective employees.  
•  Oversee the timely random product weight sampling efforts of line personnel.  
• Ensure all shift personnel work safely and that machinery defects are reported timely. 
• Handle all disciplinary matters in dealings with personnel when necessary. 
• Oversee the proper completion of all HAACP reports. 
• Provide training for employees in the areas of: Safety, GMP and Food safety.  
• Initiate a daily labor schedule for needed personnel for following days schedule.  
• Calculate and track usage of materials from the mixers batch sheets.  
•  Perform random plant safety audit and submit correctional work orders to maintenance.  
• Attend meetings as scheduled and directed by management. 
• Track all shift downtime in production and have maintenance perform shift repairs.  
• Maintain logs for bulk ingredients receiving line change sanitation.  
• Prepare weekly bulk material ordering/delivery schedules. 
• Report all attendance personnel issues to the HR department. 
• Interface with all management personnel of all departments. 
•  Recommend any and all changes or problem areas in operation to Dir. of Mfg.  
• Prepare Production Efficiency Report at end of shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:  

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Plant Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for the overall operational performance of a high-volume snack food manufacturing plant. This role oversees all day-to-day plant activities and is accountable for safety, quality, service, cost, people, and culture. The Plant Manager leads cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, planning, and sanitation to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products in alignment with company standards and financial targets. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, translating company objectives into daily plant operations while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Plant Manager plays a critical role in delivering the production plan, enhancing productivity and profitability, and fostering a safe, engaged, and high-performing workforce. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Leads and manages all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, planning, and sanitation, to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely manufacturing of high-quality products.  

• Establishes and sustains a strong safety culture by promoting a zero-injury mindset; ensure full compliance with all OSHA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, and environmental regulations through proactive programs, audits, and corrective actions.  

• Delivers the production plan on time and in full by optimizing operational performance, including OEE, labor efficiency, yield, and waste reduction, while identifying and eliminating constraints and bottlenecks.  

• Partners with Quality to uphold the highest food safety and product standards; ensure adherence to all quality systems, maintain audit readiness, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations.  

• Builds, leads, and develops a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and coaching supervisors and frontline employees; fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement, while supporting succession planning and positive employee/labor relations.  

• Owns and manages the plant’s financial performance, including the operating budget, labor and overtime costs, waste, and conversion costs; monitor expenditures and drive cost-effective operations aligned with business objectives.  

• Champions continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and structured problem-solving methodologies; lead kaizen events and leverage data and KPIs to drive performance and decision-making.  

• Ensures equipment reliability and optimal facility performance through strong partnership with maintenance; oversee preventive maintenance programs and manage capital improvement projects to support operational efficiency and long-term growth.  

• Collaborates cross-functionally with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Distribution to align materials, staffing, and maintenance plans with production needs, including support for new product introductions and process changes.  

• Tracks, analyzes, and reports key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people; communicate performance and improvement plans effectively to senior leadership.  

• Performs other duties and special projects assigned to support plant operations and organizational objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.  

• Minimum of 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in CPG or food production, with prior experience leading a plant or large production operation.  

• Proven track record in safety management, including implementing and enforcing safety systems and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.  

• Extensive experience managing food quality systems and adhering to GMP and other industry requirements.  

• Strong operational knowledge of manufacturing processes, maintenance, and engineering principles, with demonstrated practical application.  

• Experience managing budgets, expenses, and cost performance, with solid financial and accounting understanding.  

• Hands-on experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5S, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), or similar process improvement frameworks.  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP or JD Edwards is a plus. 

POSITION SUMMARY: Ensuring that all employees are trained in safety & maintain a safe work environment for employees by tracking Safety KPIs. Provide aid to any employees requiring safety assistance and communicate with corporate EHS team to find solutions. Maintain all EHS files onsite.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

• Provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures.  

• Advise the company’s administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations. 

• Inspect and verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations. 

• Record any incidents, maintain OSHA 300 Log, and follow up with Travelers for any existing claims.   

• Ensure that all corporate safety KPIs are met monthly and satisfy corporate standard.  

• Conduct safety onboarding for new employees, ensuring that all new hire documentation is completed and filed.   

• Keep all safety files onsite organized and filed correctly.   

• Conduct daily/ monthly safety audits & track near misses.   

• Conduct safety investigations and ensure corrective actions.  

• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.  

• Maintain safety policies & Safety Data Sheets.  

• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:  

 The Plant Manager is responsible for general supervision of the conversion aspect of operations including: production, quality control, maintenance, and sanitation.  Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring, and training personnel and facility/physical plant up-keep and capital improvements.  In addition, the Plant Manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. They will work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation. This person must be experienced in manufacturing operations and have at least 7 years of experience including best practices in both managerial and production platforms. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Provides leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility 

• Works closely with quality personnel to review product for food safety and quality while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement 

• Reviews established production schedules for manufacturing to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible 

• Coordinates the hiring and training of all manufacturing personnel 

• Works closely with all members of the manufacturing team to ensure awareness of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees 

• Maintains and supports a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives 

• Develops and executes the plant manufacturing budgets 

• Analyzes workforce requirements 

• Conducts performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees 

• Encourages and promotes operating in a continuous improvement environment 

• Removes production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Engineering/Finance/Management/Food Science/Operations or other related field; MBA preferred 

• Previous experience/broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies preferred required. 

• Previous experience/broad understanding of food quality systems and enforcement of quality/GMP rules and policies required. 

• Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering required 

• Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices required. 

• Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. to drive improvement preferred. 

• Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends. Ideally have had recent exposure to a modern enterprise system similar to SAP, JD Edwards, etc preferred.
