POSITION SUMMARY: J&J Snack Foods Corp. is currently looking to hire an experienced audit professional to join our Internal Audit team as a Sr Internal Auditor. The Sr Internal Auditor will report to the Manager Internal Audit and will be based out of J&J Snack Foods’ La Vergne, TN office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Participate in performing the annual risk assessment. Based on the evaluation of risk, assist in preparing the annual audit plan

• Participate in the scoping of individual audits, including performing research on relevant audit topics as needed (e.g., Accounting, Compliance, General Manufacturing, IT Security)

• Assist the Manager Internal Audit perform all phases of an audit, including planning, fieldwork, and closing activities. Closing activities include drafting audit observations and recommendations, as well as communicating the draft audit observations and recommendations to auditees

• Perform follow-up of management's action plans, including assessing the adequacy of evidence submitted for observation closure

• Perform annual detailed SOX testing, including providing recommendations to the business on how they can strengthen the control environment

• Develop and maintain business relationships with appropriate levels of management across the business to ensure that Internal Audit is aware of changes in business activities and objectives

• Seek out relevant classes and trainings to maintain/expand professional skills and licenses

• Research/help implement tools and technologies (e.g., AI) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work performed by the Internal Audit Department

• Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility in public accounting or internal audit, preferably in a manufacturing environment, but not required

  • Must have knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and IIA Professional Standards

  • Demonstrated experience executing audits and evaluating risk and controls within a complex operating environment

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

• Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 15-20% (Including travel to Mexico City for several weeks annually)

POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for processing and reconciling customer payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions. This role ensures timely and accurate application of cash receipts to customer accounts, investigates and resolves discrepancies, and collaborates with internal teams to maintain accurate accounts receivable records. The specialist plays a key role in optimizing cash flow, supporting month-end close activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies and financial controls.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Apply customer payments (check, ACH, wire, credit card) to invoices accurately and timely within JDE EnterpriseOne
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, collaborating with customers and internal teams (Sales, Facilities, AR)
• Process and resolve deductions (valid and invalid) in accordance with company procedures
• Post and reconcile cash transactions, including payments, adjustments, charges, and refunds
• Monitor daily cash application workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Plant Finance Analyst reports to the Plant Controller. The ideal candidate can work independently to process financial transactions, and maintain, update and reconcile various records including daily production, bills of material, inventories and general ledger accounts. The Senior Plant Finance Analyst is an integral part of the Finance Team and is a key resource for helping the Plant Controller and the Plant Management team identify opportunities for improvement to ensure delivery of Financial and Operational goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Daily production back flushing in JD Edwards including the review for accuracy and analysis of variances. Knowledge of manufacturing processes with ability to create, edit and maintain bills of material. Inventory Assist in maintaining accurate RAW/PKG/FG inventory valuations in JD Edwards. Oversee the cycle count process to ensure count accuracy and explanation of significant variances. Independently research errors and recommend needed adjustments. Make Inventory adjustments based on scrap reports from production floor, BOL’s of shipments out to other sites, etc. Review variances with the Plant Controller.
