Manager, Finance Systems

Fastly Business Systems team is looking for a Manager, Finance Systems Development and Operations teams. This role will support the Finance, Procurement, Legal and Back Office functions. The candidate integrates strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration to execute on the Finance Systems strategy. With expertise in the NetSuite, Coupa platforms and familiarity with related systems such as Aria Billing, Navan (T&E), Workato Integrations, Xactly, the candidate will serve as the cornerstone for transforming our strategies through innovative technology solutions that scale.

What You'll Do:

• Systems Implementation & Management:

 Senior Security Engineer, Detection Engineering

As a Senior Security Engineer on our Detection Engineering team, you will develop detections to identify potentially malicious activity and support the investigations of security incidents across the Fastly environment. Customer Support Engineer

The Fastly Edge Cloud Platform powers the best of the internet, and our Customer Support Engineering (CSE) — a key function within our broader Customer Experience organization — ensures customer experiences are a success through a transparent and timely support management system. This opening is for a Customer Support Engineer, Tier I, an entry-level position within our three-tiered team (Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III) that offers multiple opportunities for future career development within Fastly.

Fastly is seeking a technical expert for customers using our delivery and compute platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of internet protocols and the ability to advise on code updates that modify traffic at the network edge. You will not handle general IT or security (WAF/DDoS) tickets; instead, you will be the definitive expert on VCL logic, serverless compute, and the Fastly Control Panel.

What You'll Do:

• Programmable edge troubleshooting: Review our customer configurations and debug VCL logic and Compute (Wasm) applications, optimizing cache hit ratios, and manipulating HTTP headers.

• UI mastery: Guide customers through the Fastly Control Panel, RBAC configurations, and custom observability dashboards.

• High-velocity customer support: Resolve technical inquiries across email, chat, and Slack with a target first response time (FRT) of less than 30 minutes.

• Live event monitoring and on-call coverage: Monitor metrics during large network events and proactively report degradation to our customers. This role includes an on-call rotation managed by PagerDuty, covering weekends, select after-hours, and corporate holidays (which includes additional holiday pay).

What We're Looking For: 

• Experience: 2-4 years in a technical support, sysadmin, or network-focused role.

• Protocol proficiency: Demonstrated understanding of HTTP/s, TCP/IP, TLS, and DNS (must explain delivering a webpage in under 200 milliseconds).

• Program Language Proficiency: Recent coding bootcamp graduates with a focus in VCL, Python, Ruby/Go, JavaScript, Rust, etc. with a demonstrated entry to moderate level of efficiency.

• UI and API literacy: Proficiency navigating modern SaaS control panels and RESTful APIs via CLI.

Enterprise Account Executive – ANZ

Fastly seeks a Senior Treasury Analyst focused primarily on Treasury Operations who will contribute to global bank account management and domestic treasury operations.

What You'll Do:

Global Bank Account Management

• Working with our main cash management banks process global account maintenance and signer requests, prepare documentation, follow up with the financial institution through completion.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Accounting Operations, The Senior Manager will manage a team of payroll administrators, oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all US employees, and ensure compliance and seamless execution of payroll for our international countries. Fastly’s Datacenter Infrastructure Team is looking for a Data Center Engineer that is highly proficient in the deployment and maintenance of datacenter equipment, including servers, switches, routers, power distribution units, as well as all related cabling and connectivity. Ideal candidates should have experience with high-density datacenter configurations, project management, prioritizing work and excellent troubleshooting skills. Staff Product Manager, Media

Fastly is looking for a Staff Product Manager (Media) to join the Product team. This person will be responsible for Fastly's Media products and will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of those products. What You'll Do

• 8-10 years of product management experience

• 3+ years experience in CDN, media delivery, or similar fields

Staff Hardware Design Engineer

As a member of the Hardware Engineering team you will be responsible for designing and implementing the hardware infrastructure which runs Fastly's stack. You and the team will work with internal teams and external vendors on the design, testing and rollout of the hardware to ensure a highly performant, available and scalable infrastructure. 

We’re looking for a talented Staff Hardware Design Engineer with experience in hardware systems, networking, and systems engineering for distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective. You’ll be joining a team responsible for the design of Fastly’s underlying hardware infrastructure and ensuring its stability and performance.  You’ll collaborate with the various software development teams, supply chain, operations, and external vendors/partners.  Your key insights and data will drive the architecture and implementation of Fastly’s POPs. 

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with software engineering teams, supply chain, vendors, and other leaders or groups to evolve the Fastly hardware infrastructure based on new requirements, constraints, and/or changing technology.
• Develop specifications, RFPs, and other related requirements documentation showcasing the Fastly requirements and design principles for the overall life cycle of the platform and infrastructure.
• Play an active role in the hardware selection process by guiding vendors to understand our requirements, test early engineering samples of next-gen hardware (on and offsite).
• Identify and drive development for off the shelf, semi-custom, and custom SKUs where required from partners or vendors to maximize CAPEX efficiency/TCO while balancing system performance.
• Contribute to the hardware engineering team in the implementation of hardware, testing, firmware, and BIOS changes, including working with operations on keeping the fleet current 
• Collaborate on the testing of hardware - components and system in the lab, pre-production environment, and in production to make data driven decisions on the hardware architecture and vendors
• Work cross functionally to troubleshoot and triage hardware throughout the full life cycle of the hardware platforms
• Engage application development teams to ensure compatibility and assist in performance evaluation to meet platform requirements and expectations
• Mentor junior engineering developers, operations, and infrastructure staff
• Assist in vendor quality activities not limited to:  First Article Inspections (FAI), site audit, and root cause analysis

What We're Looking For (required): 

• 8+ years of experience with hardware system architecture and associated tradeoffs that include software, hardware, operational cost, and mechanical aspects 
• Experience collaborating with a broad range of roles, senior leadership, stakeholders and vendors/partners
