- Workflow Automation with AI: Identify and eliminate repetitive human-in-the-loop workflows across CI/CD, environment management, access provisioning, and change management.
- Kubernetes Infrastructure: Support our Kubernetes platform on AWS EKS, with a focus on environment hygiene and security; execute cluster-level tasks and updates with minimal support, and leverage AI for anomaly detection, capacity recommendations, and automated remediation.
- Developer Experience: Utilize our developer control plane (Cortex) to maintain paved paths and self-service actions, helping teams move from idea to production with minimal friction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering with deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
- Demonstrated experience building AI agents or agentic workflows, not just using Copilot or ChatGPT, but designing multi-step AI systems that autonomously perform operational tasks (e.g., LLM-powered runbook agents, intelligent CI/CD bots, self-service assistants with tool-use/function-calling).
- Track record of automating away repetitive workflows with AI. You should be able to point to specific examples where you replaced manual processes with AI-driven automation that let a team do more with fewer resources.
- Experience in GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI (GitHub Actions) for multi-service systems.
- Strong coding skills in Go and/or Python, treating infrastructure as software.

We are seeking experienced, passionate, and resourceful senior engineers to join our backend teams. As a backend engineer, you will work cross-functionally with various teams and contribute to the design and development of our backend services.
This position will be a hybrid role based in our Bengaluru office, with 2 days on-site as part of our expanding site. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design & implement features robust enough for our large scale.
- Drive the implementation of new features—break complex problems down to their bare essentials, translate that complexity into elegant design, and create high-quality, maintainable code.
- Create and maintain test automation to enable continuous integration and development velocity.
- Design & deliver thoughtfully crafted REST APIs to drive the interactions between our client applications and backend services.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams (data science, design, product, marketing, analytics).
- Leverage a broad skill set and help us implement and learn new technologies quickly.
- Provide and receive design and implementation evaluations and improve with each iteration.
- Debug production issues across our services infrastructure and multiple levels of our stack.
- Think about distributed systems & services and care passionately about producing high-quality code.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years of development experience in Software Engineering
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go, and Scala.
- Hands-on experience working with various databases (DynamoDB, MySQL, ElasticSearch) and data pipeline technologies.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
- Experienced in developing and executing functional and integration tests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a bias towards action and results.
- Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architecture is a strong plus.
- Experience in payments or fintech is a plus

- Hold end-to-end ownership of People Operations and Programs for the Bangkok, Thailand site.
