The Job:
We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to build and scale the AI agent systems within our enterprise SaaS application. In this role, you will be responsible for the core engineering of agentic logic, frameworks, and the high-performance backend infrastructure required to support intelligent automation at scale.
Responsibilities summary:
- Build AI Agent Frameworks: Develop the internal agents, LLMs, logic and reasoning loops, that allow AI agents to perform complex, multi-step tasks.
- Develop Core SaaS Features: Engineer robust, full-stack enterprise web components, ensuring high performance and security across the application.
- Data Engineering: Manage and optimize the interface between our AI agents and data.
- Engineering Excellence: Write clean, secure, and maintainable code and lead rigorous code reviews and refactoring initiatives.
- Automated Testing: Design and implement unit and functional tests to ensure the reliability of both traditional code and non-deterministic AI workflows.
Who You Are:
- AI Agent Architecture: Expert-level ability to build and orchestrate autonomous agents capable of planning, reasoning, and executing multi-step tasks via reasoning loops (e.g., React).
- Orchestration: Direct experience developing the internal logic and interface layers that allow LLMs to interact with APIs, databases, and system functions.
- AI Reliability & Testing: Hands-on ability to create automated unit and functional testing suites specifically designed to validate non-deterministic AI agent outputs and workflows.
- LLM Implementation: Extensive experience developing production-grade features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.), including context window management, prompt optimization, and cost-monitoring.
- AI-Assisted Development: Expert proficiency in using tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude to accelerate engineering velocity and maintain high code quality.
- Data Layer for AI: Proficiency in MySQL and relational databases, with the ability to write complex, raw queries to feed high-scale enterprise data into agentic workflows.
- Backend Engineering: 5+ years of experience with Python (Django, Flask) or PHP (Symfony, Laravel) to build the robust infrastructure required for AI-driven applications.
- Enterprise SaaS Foundations: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, design patterns, and clean coding practices to large-scale web applications.
- Model Lifecycle: Practical knowledge of model evaluation, experiment tracking, and performance monitoring in a production environment.

Compensation:
The base salary range is: $200,000 - $230,000
The Base Pay Range for this position is based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and the company's compensation strategies. However, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other objective business. Convoso’s compensation package also includes equity for all eligible U.S full time roles and exceptional benefits, including generous 401k match.

The Job:
The primary role of the Senior IT Manager is to oversee and maintain all aspects of Convoso’s computer infrastructure. This includes implementing and maintaining a secure, reliable IT infrastructure and ensuring high-performance, efficient operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for upgrading and installing new hardware and software solutions, troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and maintaining and securing company IT infrastructure. Overseeing project management and providing technical expertise to support business needs, compliance, and data protection.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Implement and administer IT policy and procedure-related network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup, including business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage hardware and software deployment for new hire onboarding and off-boarding process.
- On-premise/remote troubleshooting of company hardware (laptops/printers/tablets/cellphones) and employee home network/connectivity issues.
- Administration of Google Workspace and other SaaS tools as necessary (Confluence, Jira, Salesforce, LastPass, etc).
- Manage VPN Access.
- Process Improvement, documenting, refining, and optimizing IT processes, including incident management, escalation protocols, service-level agreements and all third-party software, and IT best practices.
- Researches and evaluates new technologies and assists with negotiating contracts with various vendors.
- Conduct project management for various IT projects as needed.
- Manage third-party partners and vendors.
- Track and confirm vendor billing for IT spending (licensing, physical inventory, etc.)
- Perform asset management (hardware and software).
- Monitor and audit IT Infrastructure system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are:
- Extensive hands-on experience (3+ years) with administration and configuration of MDM/EDM tools, such as JAMF, Intune, etc.
- 3+ years of experience with Google Workspace, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), LastPass Enterprise, Jamf
- 6+ years experience troubleshooting MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices
- Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of IT Security principles, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills; troubleshooting enterprise wireless networks and RF interference diagnosing; LAN support; hardware/software.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to devise and develop automations and provision scripts and environments, assess and maintain systems, as well as brainstorm possible improvements that can be made to our systems in the future.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Manages and monitors installed systems, Networks, and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure).
- Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Design, plan and automate deployment of network communications systems.
- Provide documentation as required to ensure accurate and current information is available for each site network.
- Implements warranty and support activities.
- Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.
- Oversees the development of customized software and hardware requirements.
- Willing to stay up-to-date with security best practices and drive implementation accordingly
- Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Run diagnostics to resolve customer-reported issues
- Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.
Who You Are:
- At least 5 years of experience in configuring enterprise-level Linux systems within a highly networked environment.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles
- Deep experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.)
- Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL)
- Proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Expertise in using Chef for configuration management and automation, including the creation and management of Chef cookbooks and recipes.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automating tasks.
- Skilled in designing, implementing, and optimizing centralized logging solutions for effective log analysis, integration, security compliance, and incident response.
- Experience with MySQL or similar database systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox, KVM, QEMU, or VMware.
- Experience managing infrastructure with bare metal servers in data center environments.
- Proficient in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins (or similar) to enhance software development processes.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adept at managing projects and solving problems from start to finish.
- Expert in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues while maintaining stability and reliability.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Skilled in administering and tuning application stacks such as Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, and HAProxy.
- Experience with monitoring systems like Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix.
- Flexible with shift work and available for overtime as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
