We are looking for a client-savvy, execution-oriented Associate Manager of Project Management to serve as a primary day-to-day project contact for Beghou’s life sciences clients while driving delivery excellence across complex, multi-disciplinary engagements. 

In this role, approximately 75–80% of your time will be client-facing — running status meetings, managing deliverable timelines, navigating stakeholder expectations, and acting as a trusted operational partner to biotech, pharma, and life sciences clients. The remaining time is spent on internal process improvement and platform governance to strengthen how Beghou delivers. 

This is the right role for someone who combines structured project management discipline with strong interpersonal skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced consulting environment. 

• 6–8 years of project management experience in a consulting, SaaS, health-tech, or life sciences environment, with demonstrated ownership of client-facing engagements. 

• Proven track record managing external client relationships as a primary point of contact, including running status meetings, managing deliverable timelines, and navigating competing stakeholder expectations. 

• Proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet, Monday, or other PM tools.  

• Fluency in both Agile/Scrum and traditional Waterfall frameworks; solid working knowledge of SDLC and data/analytics pipelines. 

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting complex project information to client partners and C-suite executives. 

• Ability to manage 3 - 5 concurrent projects across distributed teams and competing deadlines. 

• Comfortable with 25–30% client travel. 

Preferred / “Nice‑to‑Have” 

• Certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, etc. 

• Prior exposure to commercial operations in biotech, pharma, or health‑data analytics. 

• Experience implementing governance around AI/ML products or data‑privacy frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

• Launch ≥ 3 high‑impact internal projects on time, within ±5% budget variance. 

• Reduce cycle‑time of a critical internal process by ≥ 10%. 

• Achieve ≥ 90% stakeholder satisfaction on quarterly retrospectives. 

• Contribute documented best‑practice playbooks adopted by at least two functional teams.

Reporting into the Global Head of People, this role is accountable for bringing our people strategy to life within Consulting, shaping how it shows up in day-to-day operations, advising on business-specific talent needs, and owning targeted initiatives that drive performance, engagement, and delivery outcomes. 

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning 

• Partner with Global Head of People Strategy and Experience, and consulting leadership to align headcount, skill mix, and hiring plans to business demand 

• Diagnose gaps in capacity, capability, and leverage (pyramid health)  

• Partner with TA and Staffing to prioritize hiring against real business needs and identify investments.   

Performance & Talent Quality 

• Drive a high bar for performance through clear standards, calibration, and differentiation  

• Partner with leaders to assess talent, identify underperformance early, and take action  

• Support promotion and advancement decisions with rigor and consistency  

• Ensure performance management is not a process, but a tool for decision-making  

Leadership Effectiveness & Accountability 

• Coach People Managers on how to lead, develop, and manage their teams effectively  

• Identify patterns of leadership risk (avoidance, inconsistency, overload) and intervene  

 Employee Experience (Where It Actually Matters) 

• Identify and address systemic drivers of engagement, burnout, and attrition  

• Use data (survey insights, retention signals, workload patterns) to inform action 

Change & Program Leadership 

• Drive adoption of key people initiatives (performance model, career paths, compensation changes)  

• Translate strategy into practical execution within the consulting environment  

• Ensure consistency across teams while allowing for necessary business nuance  

• Own specific people strategy initiatives as required 

Data, Insight & Decision Support 

• Use data to diagnose organizational health and inform decisions  

• Provide leaders with clear, actionable insights 

• Surface risks early (attrition, engagement, performance gaps)  

• 8–12+ years in HR, with significant experience in business partnering within a consulting, professional services, or high-growth environment  

• Strong commercial mindset. You understand how people decisions impact revenue, margin, and delivery  

• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior leaders  

• Experience driving performance management, talent reviews, and workforce planning  

• Ability to operate in ambiguity and move quickly without over-engineering  

• High judgment, strong backbone, and low tolerance for mediocrity
