Purpose of the Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional service-oriented team, working on extending and maintaining our Affiliate Marketing platform. Your responsibilities include writing clean, secure, and well-tested code, following best-practice guidelines, and collaborating with the team to operate and enhance assigned parts of the platform.

You will have a significant impact in terms of efficiency, problem-solving, and mentoring colleagues. Additionally, you will work closely with the product owner and team members to translate user needs into technical solutions. Throughout the lifecycle of a service or product, from requirements to deployment, support, and maintenance, you will take a leading role, considering deadlines, balancing effort and outcome, and proactively addressing risks.

Your contribution will be vital in overcoming challenges and ensuring that our service continues to meet the needs of our business and customers.

The Team

You will be joining our Rewards tribe, a cross functional team at the core of the business. We enable advertisers to define how they reward publishers and manage commissions and transactions using an event‑driven architecture. We use an exciting array of technologies, including Java/Spring, AWS Lambda, Kafka, NodeJS, SQL/NoSQL databases, and more.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Work within a small, collaborative team using agile methodologies and practices
• Take ownership of backend services, from design and implementation to operation and improvement
• Proactively advocate for technical improvements and help define engineering priorities
• Improve existing applications and design and build new solutions from scratch
• Contribute to code reviews, planning sessions, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies
• Help shape development technologies, standards, and engineering practices
• Follow best‑practice guidelines and contribute to their continuous improvement
• Work closely with Product Managers to translate user stories into technical designs, features, and tasks
• Tackle complex business logic and help solve real business problems
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with local and remote team members

Skills & Expertise

Required

• At least 6 years of hands‑on Java experience in commercial software engineering roles
• A positive, collaborative work ethic and strong sense of ownership
• Passion for writing elegant, maintainable code, with a solid understanding of SOLID principles
• Experience conducting thorough code reviews, writing unit tests, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience with Git or similar version control systems
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging/streaming technologies
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, database design principles, and strong SQL skills
• Experience with non‑relational databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams alongside Product Owners, UX Designers, and Agile Coaches
• Familiarity with agile processes, particularly Scrum
• Knowledge of TDD or BDD practices
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, and Infrastructure as Code

• Strong foundation in OOP and comfort working with multiple programming languages, ideally incl. Java/Spring

Purpose of Position

Contribute to and execute against the product roadmap for Awin’s Publisher-facing platform, with a core focus on the re-development of Awin’s product feed and data capabilities. Product Strategy & Vision

• Own and communicate a clear, compelling product vision for the Publisher Tribe that aligns with Awin’s broader business strategy.

Publisher Experience

• Own the full publisher lifecycle experience on the Awin platform, from sign-up and advertiser discovery through to performance management and optimisation.
• Identify friction points and opportunities to improve publisher activation, engagement, and retention.
• Develop scalable self-serve capabilities that allow publishers to grow with less dependency on managed support.

Product Feed & Data Re-development

• Lead the strategic redesign and re-development of Awin’s product feed infrastructure, including feed ingestion, normalisation, enrichment, and distribution.
• Define technical requirements and work closely with engineering to improve feed reliability, data quality, and scalability.
• Explore and define new product data use cases that unlock incremental value for publishers (e.g. Recommendations, inventory updates, category intelligence).

Skills & Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering squads and drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to define clear product requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
• Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and iteration.
• Comfortable using data to define KPIs, design experiments, and communicate product impact.
• Demonstrated track record of owning complex, technically demanding products and delivering measurable outcomes.

About the AI Platform Team

The AI Platform Team enables Awin teams to build, ship, and operate AI-powered products safely, consistently, and efficiently.

We focus on the shared platform and enablement layer for AI development across the company. About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer — Foundations, Reliability & Architecture to join the AI Platform Team and help define, build, and operate the shared platform capabilities that other teams will use to develop AI-powered products.

In this role, you will work on the technical foundations of AI development at Awin: shared services, internal APIs and SDKs, architecture patterns, observability, runtime reliability, and production readiness. You will help shape the platformʼs golden path and make sure it is scalable, supportable, and easy for other teams to adopt.

This role is best suited to a strong platform engineer with solid AI production judgment. We care more about evidence of technical ownership, architectural thinking, and operational maturity than about a specific number of years working with AI.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and evolve shared AI platform capabilities used by multiple teams
• Define and improve platform architecture, technical standards, and recommended patterns for AI development
•  Build and maintain reusable internal APIs, SDKs, templates, and reference implementations
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and operational maturity of platform-owned services 
• Strengthen CI/CD, release engineering, cloud/runtime patterns, and service lifecycle practices for the platform

Purpose of the Position

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help us build the next generation of AI-native products at Awin. What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Strong Python and backend system design.
• Real, hands-on experience building and running production LLM-based systems not just prototypes.
• Deep experience with agent-based architectures using frameworks such as LangGraph, the Deep Agents or equivalents with multi-step reasoning, tool use, sub-agent orchestration, state and streaming.
• Strong working knowledge of retrieval and context construction (RAG, embeddings, chunking, ranking) and good judgement about when to use those patterns inside an agentic system.

Skills & Expertise

Required:

• Proven track record (5+ years) of leading engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Deep Software Engineering background; while we favor JavaScript and Java on AWS, we are language-agnostic when choosing our managers. We value your ability to solve complex problems over your familiarity with a specific language.
• Strong Cloud Native mindset; comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture principles(AWS, GCP, or Azure), distributed systems, and serverless/containerized environments. We use AWS on our systems.
• Experience with High-Velocity SDLC; you have lived and breathed CI/CD, automated testing, and have moved teams toward DORA-measured excellence.

Nice to have:

• Legacy Modernization & Refactoring: A proven history of successfully applying the "Strangler Pattern" or similar strategies to migrate legacy scripts into modern, scalable microservices or products.

Purpose of Position

The Salesforce Product Manager combines strong product and operational process expertise with creative problem-solving, translating complex commercial needs into scalable solutions in line with the CRM roadmap and vision. Working in a fast-paced, global environment, this role brings teams together, leads stakeholders across functional while driving meaningful outcomes in a complex and evolving systems landscape. 

Key Tasks

• Act as primary product linkage between business stakeholders, the Salesforce team, and Product & Technology, ensuring business priorities are clearly understood and reflected in the CRM roadmap.
• Support the definition, maintenance, and delivery of the CRM roadmap, working closely with CRM and Billing & Payments leadership and teams, to surface synergies and address cross-team dependencies early.
• Lead structured assessments of current (“as-is”) business processes and contribute to the definition of future (“to-be”) processes, helping identify opportunities, benefits and impacts of proposed changes.
• Translate commercial, contractual, and operational needs, challenge assumptions and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements that support effective delivery within a complex systems landscape.
• Work closely with the Salesforce Business Partners and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with agreed process models and integrate effectively across platforms.
• Support scalable and well governed CRM data foundations that enable reliable reporting, analytics, and downstream use cases.
• Drive change and adoption by promoting new ways of working, supporting users through transitions, and helping teams realise value from the CRM platform.
• Clearly communicate priorities, progress, trade-offs, and outcomes to a broad set of stakeholders through strong narratives and data-backed decision making.

Skills & Expertise

• 3+ years of product management experience, with hands-on involvement in CRM products, Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong product mindset, with the ability to frame problems, make trade-offs, and keep teams focused on outcomes in complex system landscape.
• Experience translating complex business, contractual, or operational needs into clear product requirements, roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs.
• Data-driven approach, using data to inform decisions while applying sound business judgement where information is incomplete.
