About the Role
We’re looking for a Staff Product Security Engineer to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and trustworthy products spanning AI, data, and cloud-native systems.
You’ll work closely with engineering, data science, and infrastructure teams to embed security by design throughout the product lifecycle.
This role sits at the intersection of AI/ML security, secure product development, and container/cloud-native protection, helping define the architecture, automation, and frameworks that enable secure, intelligent products at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Embed robust security practices throughout the software and AI development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Lead secure design reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for AI-driven products, APIs, and backend services.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure security, privacy, and compliance by design.
- Build and maintain security automation and governance frameworks that integrate seamlessly into development workflows.
- Architect and enforce security controls for AI/ML systems, including model training, data pipelines, and inference environments.
- Identify and mitigate AI-specific attack vectors such as data poisoning, model inversion, prompt injection, and model theft.
- Collaborate with governance and compliance teams to align with ethical AI principles and frameworks like NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act.
- Implement model provenance, integrity, and auditability controls to ensure responsible and secure AI operations.
- Partner with DevOps and SRE teams to secure service meshes, container networking, and secrets management.
- Drive software supply chain security, including artifact integrity, dependency management, and vulnerability reduction.
- Build internal frameworks for continuous assurance and real-time vulnerability management.
- Define and maintain reference security architectures for microservices, APIs, and AI-powered systems deployed in the cloud.
- Mentor teams on secure coding, containerization best practices, and AI risk management.
- Promote a security-first culture through advocacy, documentation, and training.
- Represent product security in cross-functional initiatives and leadership discussions.
What We Are Looking For:
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in product or application security engineering.
- Deep understanding of secure SDLC, threat modeling, and secure architecture design.
- Proven expertise with AWS cloud security concepts and best practices.
- Strong experience with container security, orchestration, and runtime protection.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or JavaScript for security automation, code review, and tooling.
- Experience securing AI/ML pipelines, data workflows, or model-serving infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and continuous integration/deployment environments.
- Familiarity with encryption fundamentals, including symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, TLS/mTLS, key management, and secrets handling best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional security initiatives, partnering with engineering, product, and legal teams to embed security requirements into roadmaps, influence architectural decisions, and align stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GCP or Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of AI and LLM security.
- Experience with software supply chain security and artifact integrity verification.
- Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST AI RMF).
- Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns in modern applications, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and ABAC.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve our Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities across AWS cloud environments.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep AWS expertise, strong scripting skills, and a passion for building highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud architecture by leveraging container orchestration with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code using Terraform. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments and minimize downtime. Adept at implementing DR strategies including multi-region failover, backup and restore automation, and recovery testing aligned with industry BCP/DR standards. You will collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure our systems can withstand and rapidly recover from any disruption.

Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Resilience Architecture
- Design and implement multi-region, multi-AZ AWS architectures that meet RTO/RPO targets
- Engineer active-active and active-passive failover patterns using Route 53, Global Accelerator, and CloudFront
- Build automated DR runbooks and playbooks using AWS Systems Manager Automation and Step Functions
- Implement chaos engineering practices using AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS) to validate resiliency
- Architect cross-region replication strategies for S3, DynamoDB Global Tables, RDS, and Aurora Global
- Review containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring resilience through self-healing, auto-scaling, and multi-cluster or multi-region deployments.
Backup & Recovery Engineering
- Administer AWS Backup across all services (EC2, EBS, RDS, EFS, FSx, DynamoDB, Aurora) with policy-based automation
- Design immutable backup vaults and cross-account/cross-region backup replication pipelines
- Develop and automate data recovery testing procedures, ensuring integrity and meeting defined SLAs
- Implement point-in-time recovery (PITR) for databases and storage; validate via regular restore drills
- Maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including tracking RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective).
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Author and maintain Terraform/CloudFormation templates for all BCP/DR infrastructure components
- Automate DR testing pipelines through CI/CD (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions)
- Write Python/Bash/PowerShell scripts to orchestrate failover, failback, and health-check workflows
- Manage infrastructure state in AWS Control Tower and implement Landing Zone DR patterns
Monitoring, Alerting & Incident Response
- Build CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, and composite alarms for availability and DR-readiness indicators
- Integrate AWS Health, Personal Health Dashboard events into PagerDuty/OpsGenie alerting workflows
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead DR incident response; conduct post-incident reviews (PIRs)
- Develop and maintain runbooks for AWS service degradations, regional outages, and data corruption events
Governance, Compliance & Testing
- Conduct regular BCP/DR tabletop exercises and full failover simulations to validate recovery procedures and improve organizational readiness, document results and action items.
- Ensure DR controls meet SOC 2, ISO 22301, NIST 800-53, and HIPAA/PCI requirements as applicable
- Maintain current and accurate DR documentation: BIAs, BCPs, DRP runbooks, and recovery evidence
- Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to provide DR evidence and remediation tracking
Required Qualifications:
Experience
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or IT disaster recovery engineering roles
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments at scale
- Proven delivery of multi-region DR architectures with defined and tested RTO/RPO targets
- Expert-level proficiency with core AWS resilience services (see skills matrix below)
- Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and orchestration
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: VPC, TGW, Direct Connect, VPN, DNS failover
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce executive-level DR reports
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification
- Experience with AWS Resilience Hub for automated resilience assessments and policy enforcement

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Applications Security Engineer to join our growing Corporate Technology team. This is not a maintenance role—this is an opportunity to build something from the ground up. You will take ownership of the security posture for our entire business application ecosystem, from Salesforce and Workday to niche departmental tools, transforming a fragmented, reactive approach into a centralized, proactive, and hardened security program. The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to design, deploy, and enable our global corporate network across offices in APAC. You’ll be the technical expert for physical and virtual networking architecture, driving automation, and ensuring our infrastructure is resilient, scalable, and vendor-agnostic. - Travel regionally (approx. 25–40% during buildouts) for on-site deployments and architecture reviews.
Who You Are
- 8–10+ years in enterprise networking, with multi-site design and operations experience.
- Deep expertise in routing, switching, and segmentation.Proven experience with Cisco networking technology, especially Cisco Meraki.
- Proficient in Python and Ansible for automation.
- Skilled in NAC/RADIUS integrations with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of certificate-based authentication, EAP, and zero-trust architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and leadership skills.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Audio Visual Engineer to join our Corporate Technology team, based at our New York City Headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and day-to-day support of AV and conferencing technology across our global office footprint. You will be a critical partner in delivering a seamless meeting and event experience for our employees and executive leadership, including high-visibility company-wide Town Hall events.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end support lifecycle for Zoom Rooms across all global office locations, including hardware provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Administer and support Zoom Webinar production for company-wide and external-facing events, including pre-event testing, live A/V operations, and post-event debrief.
- Partner with Facilities and IT leadership to design, deploy, and refresh conference room AV systems including displays, cameras, speakers, microphones, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Neat Pad).
- Serve as the primary AV resource for all hands meetings, Town Halls, and executive broadcasts, managing the full production workflow from setup through teardown.
- Maintain a proactive monitoring and alerting posture for AV room health, escalating and resolving issues before they impact meetings.
- Document AV standards, configurations, room guides, and runbooks as part of the Secure IT knowledge base.
- Evaluate and recommend new AV technologies, equipment, and vendors to continuously elevate the AlphaSense meeting experience.
- Support remote and APAC office locations by establishing scalable standards, shipping equipment, and providing remote guidance to local teams.
- Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and People teams on office buildouts, moves, and new room deployments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying and supporting Zoom Rooms in a corporate enterprise environment.
- Deep proficiency with the Zoom platform including Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Webinars — including admin console management and troubleshooting.
- Experience producing and operating Zoom Webinars for audiences of 100+ participants, including host controls, polling, Q&A, and panelist management.
- Solid understanding of AV signal flow, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, multicast), and how they intersect in a conference room environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot AV and conferencing issues under pressure in a live meeting or event context.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset when supporting executives and employees.
- Ability to work on-site at our NYC HQ with occasional travel to other office locations.
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience is a strong plus and will differentiate candidates for this role:
- Experience operating professional audio mixing consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer, Allen & Heath) in a live event or broadcast context.
- Hands-on experience with high-end video capture and recording equipment, including professional cameras (PTZ or DSLR/mirrorless), capture cards, and switchers (e.g., Blackmagic ATEM, Roland).
- Familiarity with streaming production tools such as OBS, Telestream Wirecast, or vMix.
- Experience supporting executive Town Hall events end-to-end, including stage AV, presenter confidence monitors, and hybrid audience management.
- Knowledge of digital signal processors (DSPs) such as Biamp or QSC for audio tuning and room acoustics.
- Certifications in Zoom (ZCS), CTS (Infocomm), or equivalent AV industry credentials.
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management for AV ticket tracking and change management.

What You’ll Own
AI Agent Governance & Shadow AI Defense
- Build and operate a centralized AI agent registry—every autonomous agent, bot, MCP connector, and AI-powered workflow across the enterprise is inventoried, owned, and monitored. Use next-gen tools as the discovery engine and extend coverage to API-level and browser-extension agents.
- Lead shadow AI containment: detect, classify, and govern unauthorized AI deployments across business units. Turn the current reactive posture into proactive continuous discovery with real-time alerting.
- Enforce agent identity governance—treat AI agents as first-class security principals with their own identities, least-privilege access controls, credential rotation, and lifecycle management. Partner with Identity to extend Zero Trust to non-human identities.
- Build incident response playbooks specifically for agent-induced incidents: goal hijacking, unauthorized data access, privilege escalation through AI tool chains, and MCP-based credential exposure.
- Define and enforce agent deployment gates—no AI agent goes to production without security review, risk classification, and registration in the central registry.
AI Governance & Compliance Frameworks
- Own AlphaSense’s AI governance program end-to-end: policy frameworks, risk classification tiers, AI impact assessments, and the cross-functional governance council (Security, Legal, Product, Engineering, HR).
- Drive ISO 42001 (AI Management System) certification—define scope, build the AIMS, lead the audit. This is a near-term strategic priority.
- Build and maintain the AI risk taxonomy covering bias, explainability, data quality, model drift, adversarial attacks, and societal impact—mapped to EU AI Act risk tiers, NIST AI RMF, and internal product requirements.
- Monitor and prepare for emerging regulatory requirements: EU AI Act enforcement timelines, DORA’s AI-related incident reporting obligations, U.S. state-level AI legislation, and sector-specific AI guidance.
- Establish AI-specific cyber risk quantification (CRQ) models that translate AI risk into financial impact for board-level reporting and investment prioritization.
Security Automation & Analytics
- Architect and deploy AI-powered security automation—targeting high-toil workflows like alert triage, evidence collection, vendor risk questionnaires, and incident enrichment.
- Build analytics pipelines that generate actionable intelligence from security telemetry across the security stack —turning raw data into risk signals, trend detection, and efficiency metrics.
- Work with teams to deploy and tune AI-driven detection capabilities: behavioral anomaly detection, insider risk correlation, and automated threat hunting across endpoints and cloud.
- Drive continuous control monitoring for AI-specific controls—automated validation that AI governance policies are being enforced, not just documented.
- Own security program metrics, KPIs, and KRIs: build dashboards and reporting that communicate risk posture, automation coverage, and governance maturity to executive leadership and the board.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Team Leadership
- Partner with Engineering and AI/ML teams to embed security controls directly into AI development, training, and deployment pipelines—shifting governance left into the build process.
- Collaborate with Product Security to ensure customer-facing AI features meet governance requirements and can withstand adversarial use cases (prompt injection, data extraction, jailbreaking).
- Work with Legal and Privacy to align AI governance policies with data protection requirements across jurisdictions (GDPR, CCPA, China DSL/PIPL).
- Build, mentor, and grow a team of AI governance and security automation specialists—people who understand both the regulatory landscape and the technical architecture of modern AI systems.
- Represent AlphaSense at industry forums, standards bodies, and customer conversations related to AI governance, AI security, and responsible AI practices.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 8+ years in security, with 3+ years in leadership roles spanning AI/ML security, security automation, or security analytics.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures: LLMs, transformer models, fine-tuning pipelines, RAG systems, embeddings, and associated attack surfaces (prompt injection, training data poisoning, model extraction, adversarial inputs).
- Hands-on experience building or leading security automation programs—SOAR playbooks, automated detection pipelines, evidence collection systems, or AI-driven alert triage.
- Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks: ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act risk classification, or equivalent enterprise AI governance programs.
- Experience with non-human identity governance: service accounts, API keys, OAuth tokens, agent credentials—and the security challenges of machine-to-machine communication at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to build and operationalize security tooling integrations across a modern cloud security stack (CSPM, EDR, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, identity).
- Experience with cyber risk quantification and translating technical risk into business and financial terms for executive and board audiences.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills—proven ability to partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, and ML teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in building analytics and dashboards from security telemetry—SQL, Python, or BI tools to generate insights from large-scale security data.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience leading or contributing to ISO 42001 certification, EU AI Act compliance programs, or formal AI risk management implementations.
- Background in securing agentic AI systems: agent registries, MCP security, tool-use governance, agent-to-agent communication controls, and runtime action attribution.
- Experience with AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM) or building AI asset inventories (AIBOM) in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with shadow AI discovery and containment—including CASB/SWG-based real-time detection, OAuth audit, and browser extension monitoring.
- Experience deploying AI/ML within security workflows: NLP-driven log analysis, ML-based anomaly detection, LLM-powered security automation.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AI-specific credentials.
- Contributions to AI security research, standards bodies (OWASP AI, NIST, ISO), or industry publications.
- Experience supporting IPO readiness, SOX, or investor due diligence from a security analytics and risk quantification perspective.

The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to design, deploy, and enable our global corporate network across offices in APAC. You’ll be the technical expert for physical and virtual networking architecture, driving automation, and ensuring our infrastructure is resilient, scalable, and vendor-agnostic. This role will partner closely with Corporate Technology, Network Security, and Security Engineering and requires the ability to travel within APAC to support our regional offices.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and Wi-Fi for multiple global offices.
- Manage Cisco Meraki switches/routers and APs, while staying vendor-agnostic for future integrations.
- Implement and manage Wi-Fi EAP (Enterprise Authentication), certificate-based authentication, and enforce zero-trust access controls.
- Plan and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi, including RF design, surveys, and performance tuning.
- Build secure cloud and hybrid networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Automate deployments and configuration management with Python, Ansible, and IaC tools (Terraform, GitOps).
- Implement observability and alerting; drive improvements in MTTR and service reliability.
- Support compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001) with configs, change control, and documentation.
- Travel regionally (approx. 25–40% during buildouts) for on-site deployments and architecture reviews.
Who You Are
- 8–10+ years in enterprise networking, with multi-site design and operations experience.
- Deep expertise in routing, switching, and segmentation.Proven experience with Cisco networking technology, especially Cisco Meraki.
- Proficient in Python and Ansible for automation.
- Skilled in NAC/RADIUS integrations with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of certificate-based authentication, EAP, and zero-trust architectures.
