OVERVIEW
As we continue to inspire mindful movement around the globe, we are seeking a Footwear Designer at ALO. The ideal candidate loves creating and designing in a fast-paced environment. Heavily led by VP of design and Snr Director of Accessories & Footwear and partnering with teammates. The chosen candidate thrives on team collaboration and building functional working relationships to help bring the teams to successful project completion - from concept to reality.
You will work on designs that push the possibilities of street style, wellness & luxury through footwear. This role will work on product ranging across Mens, Womens and inclusive product with the potential to work on performance and street footwear.

In your day to day, you will engage with project teammates on researching, gaining insights, problem solving around performance and manufacturing, working with athletes, and creating a vast range of inspiring and creative solutions. With each project, you are expected to also participate and present the work in both formal and informal reviews with design leadership and business partners. In addition to individual project work, the Designer II will also collaborate and engage their design teammates and Product Merch team.
As a Designer I, you will be working hand-in-hand with a multidisciplinary project team of accessory and footwear cross functional partners, while collaborating within the design community of your design peers within a small footwear team. The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. OVERVIEW
As the International Merchandiser, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our international assortments by region. You’ll serve as an expert on customer needs and market potential, ensuring product selections align with financial targets while upholding the brand’s design vision. In this role, you will drive the execution of the international product strategy and identify new opportunities for growth across global markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement international merchandising assortments and pricing strategies to meet sales targets and market needs
Curate specific assortments by channel for each international market inclusive of store and digital in alignment with Global retail approach
Partner with Global Merchandising, Design, Buying, and Plannings teams on seasonal investment strategies
Provide guidance on style-level investment strategy
Create, manage and update all seasonal assortment tools
Consolidate international partners’ seasonal performance to provide Global Merch team with detailed reports and recommendations for future assortments
Funnel international product market intelligence; performance data, market trends, competitor landscape to advise market specific product needs to Global Design for future line planning
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in fashion merchandising, with a focus on international markets and/or international partnerships
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating best-in-class partnerships through strong communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in navigating ambiguity
Proficiency in merchandising software and tools – Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe Illustrator. PLM experience a plus

OVERVIEW
Alo Assistant Designer is an all-star position that is very important to the team. This person is the glue that helps keep all product and information together. This person is passionate, detail oriented, a self-starter, and a forward-thinker.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Designer on daily tasks in the design process, this includes the following:
Ideation – deep dive research online and in-person market research
Sketch – create and update CADs in development process
Development – assist in launching, developing, and tracking trim, fabric, prints and styles
PLM/BOM – complete PLM/BOMs with accuracy
Document and take detailed notes in cross functional weekly meetings and Milestone meetings
Organize and track inspo samples, vendor samples, and development samples
Fittings – attend fitting and take detailed notes to ensure fit, construction, and materials accuracy in each stage of prototype
Set up vendor appointments as needed
Create and fulfill gifting packages
Create shipping labels and ship packages as needed for internal team
Create and organize fabric and trim binders seasonally
Build and maintain Designer’s lineplan/ 1-pager seasonally
Assist weekly proto reviews by gathering and prepping samples
Assist in creating seasonal concept boards for presentations/ milestone meetings
Adhere to design calendar deadlines and timelines, ensure all tasks are completely in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
BA degree in Fashion Design preferred
0-2 years of industry experience in fashion design
Proficient in Adobe suites: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
Proficient in CAD skills
Knowledge in CLO3D is a plus
Knowledge in PLM systems
Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word
Knowledge in performance fabrication, trims
