Team Overview
As the Blackstone Professional Development Specialist, you are a vital part of the Blackstone Team. In this role, you will report to the VP of the Blackstone Legal Fellowship and assist the Professional Development program.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the Blackstone job board, including but not limited to updating employment profiles of Fellows as they change with the Alumni team, particularly with the firm setting, working cross-team with the Creative Team on Professional Development documents with annual updates, law firm interview process, and clerkship interview introductions.
Track Blackstone Fellows in career transitions and, if needed, connect them with various members of ADF, Professional Advisors, and Allies.
Maintain and track accurate data for the relevant monthly reports on clerkships and the job board.
Manage and filter Reliance data in Airtable monthly.
Serve as a secondary point of contact, if needed, for applicants for the Blackstone Legal Fellowship-related summer internship opportunities during each cycle, and develop a level of knowledge of the applicants and internship opportunities.
Oversee professional development projects, initiatives, and in-person events.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of administrative experience.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
Exceptional communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the government.
Experience working in a law firm environment.

The Sr. Administrative Assistant serves as the strategic and operational partner to the Vice President of the Blackstone Legal Fellowship. In this high-impact role, you provide executive-level administrative leadership, manage complex judicial and professional development data, and coordinate cross-team initiatives that support Blackstone’s long-term talent and judicial strategy. You will regularly engage with senior leaders, judges, Fellows, faculty, and external partners—requiring sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism. Success depends on anticipating needs, handling sensitive information, streamlining systems, and driving excellence in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position is based in the ADF Virginia office with occasional travel to Blackstone events.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Leadership
Provide comprehensive executive-level support to the VP of Blackstone Legal Fellowship, including complex calendar management, strategic scheduling, agenda and briefing preparation, follow-up materials, domestic travel coordination, detailed itineraries, and expense management.
Serve as a trusted representative of the VP, exercising sound judgment in prioritization, communication, and information flow across internal and external stakeholders.
Anticipate executive needs, identify emerging challenges and opportunities, and proactively recommend solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
Judicial Pipeline & Professional Development Operations
Maintain and continuously improve systems tracking judicial pipeline data—including clerkship placements, judges, courts, timelines, and long-term career trajectories—ensuring accuracy and strong data governance.
Develop and synthesize reports, dashboards, and data summaries to inform decision-making, long-term planning, and program evaluation.
Manage relationships with Blackstone Professional Development Advisors to align data insights with strategic guidance.
Program Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate meetings, calls, and working sessions related to Professional Development initiatives, ensuring clear agendas, timely materials, and effective follow-through.
Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, Communications, and other departments to support seamless program execution, reporting, budget monitoring, expense tracking, and operational alignment.
Lead or support special projects, research assignments, and cross-functional initiatives that advance Blackstone’s long-term leadership and judicial strategy.
Confidentiality
Handle highly sensitive judicial, executive, and career-related information with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, accuracy, and impeccable judgment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
3+ years of senior‑level administrative experience required.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting senior leadership.
Experience in data tracking, reporting, program coordination, or similar operational roles.

Team Overview
As the Recruitment Operations Specialist, you are a vital part of the Blackstone Team. In this role, you will report to the Recruitment Operations Manager and manage logistical details related to recruitment through the summer program activities.
Key Responsibilities
Execute logistical coordination for Blackstone recruitment events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats, supporting a high-volume national recruitment cycle.
Manage detailed event logistics including scheduling, vendor coordination, catering orders, material shipment, technology setup, and post-event close-out.
Support contract administration by tracking recruitment-related agreements, routing documents for approval, and maintaining accurate records.
Assist with budget tracking and expense reconciliation for recruitment and internship-related activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate intern housing logistics under the Phase II Internship Housing Program, including documentation tracking, communications, and issue resolution.
Maintain operational calendars, checklists, and timelines to ensure recruitment and housing workflows remain on schedule.
Serve as a primary point of operational contact for internal stakeholders during active recruitment and placement periods.
Ensure consistent brand representation, professionalism, and hospitality standards across all recruitment activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.
Experience supporting events, programs, or operations in a professional setting.
Knowledge of contract and budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and administrative workflows.
