Compensation: $75k annual salary + 15% bonus target (split 50/50 individual/company)

About the Role

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing a network of Dedicated Drivers, which may include W-2 employees, 1099 contractors, or a combination of both. You will support drivers directly, ensure customer needs are met, and own execution of tactical initiatives to deliver top-quality service. You will be a hands-on leader who invests deeply in driver development and cultivates strong, trust-based relationships with both drivers and customer stakeholders."

What You'll Do

Driver Training, Coaching & Performance Management

• Lead onboarding and ongoing training programs to ensure drivers are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills to perform at the highest level
• Provide consistent coaching and direct feedback to drivers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Develop and execute individualized performance improvement plans, conducting quarterly re-training sessions and regular performance reviews
• Monitor driver performance metrics closely and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities for development
• Build and maintain a healthy, engaged driver base across assigned geos and customers

Customer & Driver Relationship Building

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer accounts, working collaboratively with Account Management to cultivate strong, long-term relationships with customer POCs through regular communication and in-person engagement.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to regional customer site locations; including regional driving, domestic flights, and overnight stays to maintain visibility and deepen partnerships
• Conduct in-person market performance reviews at customer sites to assess service quality and proactively surface improvement opportunities
• Build trusted relationships with drivers through daily interactions, check-ins, and onsite visits, ensuring they feel supported and set up for success
• Coordinate and manage change requests in close partnership with both drivers and customers, ensuring smooth and timely execution

Operations & Process Ownership

• Provide direct support to drivers on tactical problems that arise
• Proactively partner with the Revenue team to action driver feedback and develop clear resolution plans
• Manage driver rate establishment, billing, and payment execution
• Actively govern work through formal documentation and identify opportunities to streamline processes
• Partner with leadership to identify process gaps and take swift action to close them

About the role: We are looking for a Driver Onboarding & Training Manager to build, own, and deliver our Dedicated Driver training program from the ground up. This is not a facilitation-only role; you will design the curriculum, build the content, partner with recruiting to ensure every new driver is set up for success, and travel into the field to validate that training is landing correctly. You'll report to our Senior Manager of Dedicated Driver Operations and work closely with Regional Managers, recruiting, and our revenue team to ensure our drivers are trained, compliant, and performing at the highest level from day one.

What you’ll do:

• Build and own the end-to-end Dedicated Driver training program, including new driver onboarding curriculum, role-specific modules, and ongoing retraining content for both online and in-field delivery
• Partner with recruiting to integrate training into the onboarding process, ensuring every driver is fully prepared before their first shift
• Develop scenario-based training content using real examples so drivers learn how to think, not just what to do
• Travel into the field (up to 25% of the time) to deliver in-person training, validate program effectiveness, and ensure standards are being met at the warehouse and customer level
• Conduct driver performance evaluations to assess training effectiveness and iterate content and delivery based on results
• Identify drivers who are at risk and develop targeted retraining or performance improvement plans in partnership with Regional Managers
• Maintain and update training documentation, SOPs, and resources as processes evolve
• Partner with Driver Ops Managers and the Revenue team on quality and performance initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in training, program development, or instructional design; preferably in logistics, transportation, or a field-based environment
• Proven ability to build training programs from scratch; not just deliver existing content
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with drivers, managers, and customers alike
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to support field training and validate program delivery
• Action-oriented with a demonstrated ability to own problems and drive solutions
• Comfortable with technology and experience with learning management systems, Google Suite, and Salesforce a plus

Compensation: $70K - $75K salary + bonus opportunity

Overview

As an Operations Manager (OM), you play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement and overall success of the respective sector. The Ops Manager is directly responsible for the ongoing performance, long-term and near-term improvement initiatives, and the transformation of their sector into a regionally elite operating team as Airspace matures and grows.

OM’s, while working in the Operations organization, must work closely across all departments at Airspace and with our various customers and partners in their region (EU, APAC, US, etc.). Because of this, the OM must be adept at managing teams in different time zones and schedules and effectively coaching team members while not always in person.

The operations team is the backbone of our company  and by working on the front lines you represent, first-hand, everything that we stand for. Not only will you be in direct communication with our customers, commanders and agent service providers, with extreme attention to detail, having the ability to catch something so small can ultimately be the difference maker in being able to save a human life!

Sector Ownership

• Act as the highest escalation level and point of contact for all operations performance within your sector (whether on an ad hoc or daily basis, or to address sector-level or customer-level trends) 
• Monitor, comprehend, and action (when necessary) on the daily, weekly and monthly performance trends of your respective sector though team coaching or feedback
• Assist and ‘get hands on’ with the sector team when necessary to ensure the frontline is supported and that customers continue receiving industry leading service levels
• Represent your Operations sector in major customer milestone meetings (onboarding calls, QBR’s, escalation, issue, expansion opportunities) and provide support to Revenue teams as the operations expert
• Work alongside the Revenue (Sales and Account Management) teams to set the standards and monitor the creation, evaluation & approval on SOPs and customer specific solutions
• Lead, alongside Network, R&D, Finance and other departments at Airspace in the identification, scoping and implementation + execution of customer specific solutions or operational requirements that typically fall outside of a ‘normal’ scope of work 
• Actively participate and play a leading part in Airspace internal deployment (aka implementation) prep calls & external client deployment calls
• Define the sector-specific Standard Work and operational requirements needed for highest quality service 
• Collaborate with Network to design solutions that fit the client's needs during the deployment/onboarding process
• Identify potential risks, proactively identify operational challenges and provide geographic / regional expertise during customer RFPs 
• Define and set benchmarks for Key Performance Indicators relevant to your sector 
• Report on Sector performance (including solutions in place to improve service where necessary) regularly through scheduled updates (Performance Alignment Report) and live meetings (Quarterly Executive Operations Reviews, Leadership Summits)
• In charge of overall headcount, hiring, firing, and compensation/level requirements for your reporting sector(s). 
• KPI ownership, trend resolution, and process improvement on an account-level for existing accounts
• Assist in new client onboardings with support from Directors or Sr Managers

Team Management

• Hold routine touchpoints with Supervisors and set priorities for each individual based on needs of the business and progress against benchmark KPIs 
• Define personal performance goals for leaders in your sector that are aligned with company quarterly / annual OKR’s, general service improvements and improving their professional acumen
• Define, manage and continuously improve a predefined ‘Rhythm of the Business’ that solicits discussions around service performance, internal team discussions and ensures all leaders in your sector  are aligned on executing on priorities laid out for them 
• Maintain a coverage schedule that consistently provides sufficient operations coverage 24/7/365 and accounts for supply needed for regional service lines
• Assists in the recruitment pipeline in partnership with sector Directors and People Team including following a interview and assessment process and or framework 
• Direct resources across Airspace sectors to account for sudden supply-demand imbalances due to unforeseen circumstances, both proactively and when requested
• Manage and coach team members on quality, clean and organized communication across internal and external channels 
• Work alongside sector leadership to effectively plan and facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure all systems, hardware, certifications, accommodations and introductions are completed 

Continuous Improvement

• Scope, lead or supervise and ultimately be the primary responsible party of initiatives that support company OKR’s, sector performance shortfalls or requirements for new capability or new service requirements
• Create roll-out plans to implement new processes & lead supervisors/leads to engender high adoption rates
• Proactively identify opportunities where new services, capabilities or certifications would be required or beneficial to the sector team and drive the execution (including work plans and required resources, funding) with approval from Operations Leadership 
• Coach and hold individual contributors (Specialists, Experts) and Managers (Supervisors, Regional Sector Leaders) on technical and operational skill improvement opportunities, and personnel, communication and management opportunities pertaining to work output through a combination of individual conversations or structured trainings 
• Regularly maintain pulse balance of operational efficiency and service quality, and proactively solution and suggest opportunities for improvement to improve both objectives

Cross Departmental Collaboration

• Work to build strong, professionally productive relationship build bridges across all Airspace departments and proactively bring in other teams (RevOps) to solution large lift problems requiring cross departmental collaboration
• Partner with Finance in tracking down missing information for invoicing, discrepancies in orders and triaging ways to improve Gross Margin Dollars when tasked 
• Hold regular meeting cadences with Sales and Account Management sector leadership to understand needs, requirements of operations during high-value revenue motions
• Hold regular meeting cadences with Driver Operations and/or Network to understand needs, requirements and support that Operations can provide in the spirit of improving service across all teams at Airspace 
• Partner with Quality Assurance team for live-operational support, shipment reviews and corrective action plans. Ensures any plans taken for corrective action are effective and in place.

Role Overview

The Account Manager – (Medical Device) is a senior, customer-facing role within Airspace’s Healthcare Revenue organization, responsible for the day-to-day management, execution, and growth of a defined portfolio of enterprise Medical Device customers. They report to the Director, Enterprise Sales and Account Management. 

This role serves as the primary owner of ongoing customer experience, the primary champion of the Airspace’s operational execution to support our customers, and a facilitator of general hygiene across assigned accounts. They play a critical role in expanding existing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customers realize consistent value from Airspace’s services while serving as the connective tissue between customers and Airspace’s internal teams.

This role requires strong judgment, executive communication skills, operational rigor, and the ability to manage complex enterprise relationships.

Key Activities

Execution of Account Strategy and Support

• Serve as primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned enterprise customers.
• Partners with the Director, Enterprise Sales and Account Management to create account strategies and execution rhythms and then drives the execution of said strategies.
• Executes rhythm of business customer-facing and internal motions (ad preps materials) to drive account strategies and service excellence for their assigned accounts.
• Deploys GTM S&O, and CBO, where needed to aid in best-in-class creation of materials and narratives to clients
• Build trusted relationships with customer operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Maintain deep understanding of customer clinical workflows, distribution models, and service expectations.
• Represent Airspace with executive presence, logistics / MD expertise, and confidence in all customer interactions.
• Maintain best-in-class account documentation, stakeholder maps, and service context; provide regular, concise, proactive updates to Sales leadership (from Director, Enterprise Sales and Account Management, to SVP, to MD to CEO) on account health, risks, and opportunities.

Service Execution & Escalation Management:

• Coordinate with Operations, DriverOps, and Support teams to drive fast resolution of critical service issues (typically not at the order-level, but sometimes may be).
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers during incidents.

Onboarding & Launch Execution

• Travel to customer sites for new logo onboardings and major expansions when needed.
• Support onboarding planning in partnership with Director, Enterprise Sales and Account Management, SVP, and Operations.
• Own the operational execution and adoption of all approved expansions.
• Ensure customer training, documentation, and readiness activities are completed
• Revenue and Margin Stewardship
• Drive revenue and margin performance for assigned accounts.
• Monitor volume trends, pricing behavior, and margin performance.
• Partner with Pricing, Finance, and Director, Enterprise Sales and Account Management to mitigate margin risk and support sustainable growth.
• Surface and shape expansion opportunities with Director, Enterprise Sales and SVP (new regions, service types, dedicated fleets, on-demand usage).
• Execute rollout and adoption of new services or lanes.

Required Experience & Profile

• 5–10+ years of enterprise account management or customer success experience or equivalent experience at a Med Device or similar healthcare company serving in a logistics / supply chain role.
• Experience supporting large, complex B2B customers.
• Strong skillset with excel, business intelligence tools (looker power BI, etc), and slides
• Experience working with data to drive service improvements cross functionally
• Strong operational acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable managing escalations and difficult conversations.

Airspace is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Key Account Manager Aerospace who will play a key role in managing existing client relationships within the Aerospace vertical, with direct responsibility for managing customer performance and growing a portfolio of industry accounts. Your contribution is key as we continue to scale our business. Help us bring our transformational logistics service to market with your knowledge and experience. 

This is a remote position based in the US and reports to the Key Account Director of the Aerospace & Defense vertical.

• Account Management
  • Responsible for the success of your respective portfolio within your vertical
